Update!

Hi new followers! I just wanted to give a quick update both to y’all and to everyone else who’s been following this tumblr to let you know that I’m still alive, rl’s just been a disaster plus my brain has been focused elsewhere in fandom and such lately.

HOWEVER, I am still thinking about this project, and haven’t abandoned it! I hit a bit of a wall with Skyfactory 2 because it’s literally only four people including he who shall be deleted, which means editing is very intensive and I got seriously annoyed and ragequit it for awhile. I’ve been thinking I’ll just work on a different episode and come back to Skyfactory later, but I’ve been trying to decide on which episode to work on next, and then also procrastinating. Y’all know how it is.

But yeah tl;dr I’ve been distracted and a little burnt out but I haven’t given up on this project and do intend to do more editing in the future! Thank you to everyone who’s followed recently, and to @jeremytheangrygollum for shouting me out! ♥

Saw u are in need of some uplifting messages!!! Thank you for your hard work and time!!! Uno: the movie was such a big comfort video for me for the longest time and your edited version of it finally allowed me to watch it again after I was sure I would never be able to!!! (also plz make sure not to push yourself too hard on this stuff, take breaks and take care of urself!! Ur health and well being are more important!!)

This is so sweet, thank you! I'm so glad you have one of your comfort videos back; that sort of thing is pretty much the whole reason I wanted to do this project, so it's so nice to hear. ♥ And thank you for your concern and well wishes; rl's been a whole Thing lately and that's been part of the slump for sure, but I super appreciate how understanding and patient everyone has been and is about it taking longer than expected to get new edits done!

Got waylaid by life, still working on the episode, alas.

Update, future vids, etc!

Heya everyone! It’s been a little bit; holidays and all that got wild, plus I’ve been working on personal projects and videos for my main youtube account and my family may have gotten a Switch and so I’ve also been playing a lot of Pokemon Snap.

BUT I’m back to working on some things! I’m doing the initial edits for Skyfactory part 2 right now, and while I’m not going to promise an upload date, hopefully it’ll be late this week or early the next.

It’s Uno: The Movie! Or maybe more accurately Uno: The Movie: Abridged, but idek.

I hope y’all enjoy the ridiculous montage (and even more ridiculous sub-montages) of what was originally the first half of the game, and then the second half of the game when Jack takes over is basically unedited (just a few short mentions here and there were taken out) except for the visual edits. Speaking of, I know they’re a little not-good, but Sony Vegas was sucking out my will to live as I tried to get them all to work and I figured no one would really care if they’re not perfect.

But aside from slightly uggo visual edits, if anyone sees anything that really shouldn’t be there, please let me know! Full disclosure any edits I need to make will probably be done with youtube’s blur feature because rendering and reuploading this takes approximately a century, but I’ve reviewed this whole long thing several times so HOPEFULLY it’s all good.

And all that aside, I hope y’all enjoy. ♥

Uno: The Movie montage edit is in progress and coming along nicely!

As I mentioned previously, after some input (thanks again, everyone!) the general consensus was that for Uno: The Movie the best way to handle it was to do a montage of best clips from the first half, and then normal cuts (if needed) for the second part where Jack takes over. It was also decided that replacing the avatar and name with another character for the first part (for the second part I’ll switch them over to Jack) would work out the best, and honestly while editing I’ve been laughing every time I see Garboman so I hope everyone else will too.

Lots of good stuff is gonna be salvageable/end up in the montage, but it’ll still end up relatively short overall so expect that the ‘The Movie’ part is gonna end up being slightly ironic. But hopefully it’ll still be fun to watch!

Sky Factory 2 is still in the works, but I haven’t done much on it yet due to other projects and rl stuff. But it’s still planned to get done, hopefully sometime in December!

Updates, etc

Hey everyone!

I’m still alive! I’ve just been taking a bit of a break to work on side projects, like streaming and researching/writing for youtube videos for my personal channel, and they’re taking a lot of attention to get going. I’m also getting my widsom teeth ripped out with great prejudice next week, and will be doing NaNoWriMo, so lots of stuff going on.

But that said, I haven’t abandoned this project by any means! I did start on Sky Factory, part 2 and still plan on getting the cut of Uno the Movie done to premiere on December 1st. I’m just slowing down a bit for the next few months compared to what I had been doing, but episodes will still be coming out and I wanted to pop in and give this little update in case anyone had been wondering. ♥

Could I make a request for a video (down the line, you keep doing what you’re doing, I’m patient!)? Could you do the Ender Pearl Race and the Find the Tower with Gavin hiding it? Updates!

Heya everyone,

I’m doing the final review of Sky Factory, Part 1; I expect to post it later today. I’ve freezeframed the entire episode to try to be sure I got everything visually (the audio review is the part I’m working on now), but there’s still a chance I might’ve missed something due to how close contact everyone is the entire video, so please keep that in mind! As usual, I’ll make edits as fast as I can if anyone notices anything, but I still wanted to make note that this video might be a little riskier than usual despite my best efforts.

In other good news, I (mostly) figured out why my keyframing for the censor edits in Vegas wasn’t working right, so hopefully moving forward the video edits will be much faster and easier. Progress!

After Sky Factory, Part 1 the next big video should be Sky Factory, Part 2 but just like with part 1 it might end up being delayed slightly; depends just how the editing goes, and how much time I have (I’m trying to get some other unrelated projects off the ground and they’re requiring a lot of attention.) I’m also planning to try to get a few easy bonus videos out, such as some of the requests I have, so they’ll be scattered in there.

Uno: The Movie is planned tentatively to be released as a special episode on December 1st, because I realized that would be the five year anniversary of the actual episode being put on youtube and that just seemed fitting. I say tentatively because I haven’t started on it yet, but this gives plenty of time.

I think that’s everything important I have to mention for now, but yeah! Keep an eye out for Sky Factory, Part 1 later today. ♥

Skyfactory updates!

Heya everyone,

Sky Factory is still coming along; I’ve got all the scenes clipped together, and it looks like it’ll be about 20 minutes total. Bad news is that the censoring edits are unsurprisingly very extensive, and have so far taken an hour to get through one minute of the episode.

The process will likely be faster once I get further into the episode and everyone’s not on the same tiny tree, but it still means I probably won’t get it finished until sometime mid-week. I do have a very short bonus episode that’s done, which I’ll try to get uploaded Monday so there’s SOMETHING, but alas Sky Factory will almost surely be delayed a little bit longer.
