Heyyyyy everybody :) I am not in the country! I cannot return to my country unless I raise some money for a covid test! The website i checked a few months ago told me it was free, but the travel ready post is a lot of money.

About a month ago, I had a big praying mantis hyperfixation (and still kinda do, to be honest). I wanted to make some mantis content, but I didn’t feel like drawing one, and it would take to long to 3D model a realistic one. So I thought, “Screw it, praying Minetis.” I figured trying to model something original in Minecraft style as authentically as possible could be fun, and it was! :D

I love mantises and their funny little intimidation dances <3

Total work time was 16 hours and 46 minutes. Modeled, rigged, animated, and rendered in Blender, textured in Clip Studio Paint. Grass block texture created by Mojang.

Redstoner - goes along with technical but more along the “with this contraption, minecraft plays YOU” lines

49er - you can always be found in a mine

Modded Pro - you barely recognize core game mechanics anymore
