hey guys i just finished a draft for one of the stories in my comic but could really use some critique. basically ive been interviewing multicultural people and then writing short comics based on our conversations. i think ive been staring at it too long and need a fresh pair of eyes. please be harsh idc. are the drawings too stiff or monotonous? do i need to add more background? is it written ok should i rewrite anything?

Marcille is from a well off family, right? is there a reason she cannot ask her family for money? to borrow it at least. i mean normally sure, she probably doesn't want to rely on them but in this situation, with Falin's life on the line I imagine she would have pulled all the stops. idk just musing the answer is probably either super simple or super complicated knowing this ip

interesting, so that's what happened before she showed up and saved Laios' ass. did he say that because he really finds her unreliable (tho in that case why lie and tell her to go for a walk) or because he feels like she might go back to her party (edit: I forgot he tells her she can stay with them at the end so that's probably what he meant)

chuckchuck just says "footsteps" in the anime, but the fact he can tell how many people and that they're armed is really fucking cool. don't mind me, just hyping up this middle aged grump

this is in the anime but I didn't notice it - Mrs Tansu is wearing a necklace made out of tiny skulls. I want to know what creature those skulls belong to 👀

this bit isn't in the anime, they just cut to them in the tower. I also appreciate the little drawing of the area, it looks so cool. I'm guessing Mrs Tansu can also do healing/resurrection magic so that's why she's staying behind

in the anime he only reaches for the book to identify it after Senshi shows them tentacles banana he's stuck holding but I like this much better, it's not "efficient" (bc he'll reach for the book later on anyway so might as well save the frames) but it's important to his character

the focus in this scene was on Marcille, gathering herself up to thank Namari but I feel like the bit where Laios realises he could have gotten an arrow to the head is too funny to leave out (then again my priorities are more akin to Laios'...)
