I just want to say I’m sorry to everyone who has either tagged me in something or has sent me an ask which I never responded to in the last few months :( I’ve just been so busy with the fall semester and it’s finally ending this week. Also my mental health has been needing some help :( but I’m working on that. I’ve also felt really disconnected from the 5sos fandom and it hasn’t felt the same in such a long time, which leads to me coming on here less and less. I haven’t enjoyed being active on here since April probably which makes me sad. Nobody probably cares, but I just wanted to say that.

random note: I know that a lot of people kind of switched their attention to more kpop groups (or other things) when 5sos went on their mini hiatus (if that’s what you want to call it) after their tour for the sgfg album, which I thought was cool bc I’ve been interested in kpop since I was 12. I just never focused on it as much as I did 5sos or even 1d back in the day lol. I think I had this preconceived belief that there was a lot of toxicity in a lot of the kpop fandoms, which could be true for some, I’m not super familiar with a ton of groups/their fandoms. But as I’ve taken time to reflect on the 5sos fandom I realized there is a lot of toxic behavior within it and it makes me super sad :( obviously that statement isn’t true for everyone, but it’s something I’ve realized after I took a step back from the fandom in April. I’ve found that I’ve been thinking a bit more postively as I’ve become more invested in some of the other kpop fandom groups (sorry that’s a weird wad to phrase it lol). This is by no means me shitting on the 5sos fandom or saying other fandoms are better, this is just how I’ve felt the past couple of months. I think there was a shift in the mood of the fandom and idk if it was for the better. I could be completely wrong so don’t take what I say super serious I guess. Obviously everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

I’ve had the absolute time of my life the past 7 years that I’ve been a part of this fandom, but I think it’s just time for me to step back and just support them from a bit of a distance. At least for right now. So I don’t see myself being super active on here as of now or for awhile probably. They’re still one of my favorite bands so idk I could come back in a month with an entirely different perspective, but that’s how I feel at this moment. So again, no one probably cares but I’m saying it anyways. Since I haven’t been active in so long who knows who will see this, oh well :/ I’ll still log in from time to time to see what’s new, but probably not much else than that. Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive of this blog. I somehow got almost two thousand people to follow me which is still so insane to me. Know that I appreciate every single one of you and you made my time on here so much fun :) For the majority of the time I was on here I really saw a lot of positivity so I hope that stays the same. I love you guys 💛
