Resi smiles back as she places her handmade bookmark in the book and places it on the side table. She then slides her headphones down her head to rest on her neck. "Hey to you...." She answers smiling as she tousled her friend's hair, noting the slightly hint on her friend's face, which she brushes off.

"Nah....."She shrugs, "not doing anything important, just killing some time." Resi admitted, "and taking my mind off a few insignificant things."

It became commonplace for Keira. To show up unannounced & enter one's home when she was well aware that she should have knocked ; but suppose those formalities lose themselves when they've been friends for a long while. ❝ Hey sunshine. ❞ Keira made herself comfortable, staring up at Resi with a small smile. Sure, she felt a little guilty for disrupting what seemed to be a time of relaxation for her ; though from what she sees, it didn't seem as though it bothered her.

❝ Yeah, I was in the country & I figured I'd stop by. Doing anything important that I should give you time with? ❞

"Jeez, you could have remembered that sooner?" Resi answers, sounding annoyed as she heads back into the lounge. "How can we track it when you just said that your phone was switched off?" Resi added matter-of-factly, "We can't track something when it is switched off, genius!" She says sardonically, huffing in annoyance. Resi always liked to point out her brother's shortcomings as it was revenge for him being an arrogant power-hungry tyrant in the past.

Flops on the Queen's lap.

Resi was engrossed with her music and was unaware that Keira was in her house. It wasn't until she flopped onto her lap that Resi realised. A gasp followed as she looked down at the American on her lap. "Hey, you..." Resi stated as she turned off her music and placed her phone on the side table. Looking at the blonde, with a small yet slightly surprised smile before saying, "I wasn't aware you were coming around today?" She comments still looking at Keira.

im so sorry. but your character has an entire fandom that is h word for them. it's terrifying. people would probably pay money for you to make an entire movie about that character so they can write fanfiction about them. not that they need the movie, they already have loads of fanfic

Resi looks towards the grey face deep in thought before sipping her drink. "Hm—" She started as she hummed, "What one wish would I like?" Resi ponders thinking about what to say. Apart from the obvious, she was indecisive about what to say.

"I would love to say that finally seceding from Germany would be my wish. However, there's one wish which would be amazing if it came true. This wish is to reconcile with my boyfriend. I know that he still likes me, and if we do reconcile, then I will definitely do things better than I did last time. So, I wish for a reconciliation with my boyfriend as my wish."

Resi walks over to Lily, standing where she was instructed to. Watching carefully, she watches Lily demonstrate how to light the fireworks, her eyes following the blonde's actions. "Yes, I see it," Resi answers as she continues to watch. It was pretty much self-explanatory. Don't get too close, or you will be hurt. Resi nodded, "Noted. After lighting it, step back—way back." Resi added as she stepped back in preparation.

Resi finishes her glass and puts it down as well. She turns to Lily and passes her a small smile before moving towards the fireworks. "We have known each other for ages so call me Resi." She tells the blond as she looks at the fireworks. Shaking her head at Lily's question she answers, "No, I haven't. I am usually a spectator, not a releaser."

It looked simple enough and Resi knew that she would be able to release the fireworks. "Just show me once and afterwards I will be okay."

Resi was still wary about divulging to Yaroslava and telling her the whole story, and letting her heartbreak was something Resi didn't want to do, so she decided to interlock her fingers together and passed the other woman a small, weak smile. "I can't let my heart break." She exclaims, "Despite the ghosting and the times he left me alone, I still kinda, sorta still love him." Resi admitted.

She glanced towards the other woman, noticing her sudden curiosity about the whole situation, and Resi had a thought. Yaroslava was new, someone who wasn't aware of the situation and who she could influence by telling her any reason why she broke up with her ex.

Resi leaned forward as she relaxed her hands and placed them on her lap. "Well—" She started as she bit her lip, trying to think how to start the explanation. "In a way, yes—" She answers, trying to sound confident, "He did cheat if you considered sexting cheating?" She answers as she circles her hands nervously on her lap, hoping that her explanation is enough to continue the charade.

Resi takes a long drawn-out breath before speaking as she stares out into the horizon. She sits down and slumps her shoulders as she looks over at the other woman. "Hmm, it's complicated." She answered with a shrug not wanting to divulge her complicated love life to someone she had just met and besides she knew that she would be boring her companion with another story of boy meets girl, girl messes up big time, and boy ghosts her, so Resi decided to stay silent for the time being. "My heart—" She pauses as she looks down at her hands, "Is breaking." She answers being brief not wanting to elaborate.

"Best to let it break now, no? It saves you the trouble later," she reasoned, her tone calm and even, if a bit casual. Yaroslava found it difficult to relate to the other's situation as her own trysts and affairs were heavily uninvolved in emotion [at least on her end] but surprisingly, she reserved her callousness... for her own reasons.

She leaned forward with some interest, curiosity overtaking her. "What did he do, hm? Cheat? They do that often."

After looking at almost everywhere she can think of in the room, Resi sighs as she runs her hand through her hair. "I don't know where you put it, but it's somewhere we haven't thought of yet? If not, could it be somewhere even not in this house?" She stated as she scurried off to the other room.

What made you pick your name?

"Hm, I don't know..." Resi started as she shrugged her shoulders. This was the first time someone had asked her what made her pick her name. Resi just chose her name off a whim and stuck with it. "I guess that I just found the name and thought that it suited me, and I liked it."

Resi rubs her temples. "What are you like?" She answers, "Remind me to get you a portable power battery pack so that we don't have a repeat of this again?" She remarks as she starts to look behind things for locate his phone.

"Check your pockets or bags or on the piano?" She demanded bossily. "If not there, check the bedroom?" She added as she scurried off looking for the elusive phone.

"Awesome." Resi smiles as she holds the folders. She knew that the offer of free beer would entice him, so she was happy that he accepted. "Just wait until I put these away, and we can find a decent bar around here?" She answers before heading into the office to put the folders away.

" I am not promising the best bar in the world as we are in Berlin, but I am sure that we will suffice."

Resi moves to take some of the folders from him. She was aware that it was dawning the end of the day and knew that Ludwig had already worked over his hours this week and Resi being the helpful and kind older sister she was decided to take some of the burden off him to finish on time.

"Perhaps afterwards, I could get you a drink before you go home. I do owe you a beer, after all?"
