it's kind of crazy climate change has occurred at such a remarkable pace that I and everyone else around my age can remember a completely different climate in our childhoods. I truly watched winter gradually disappear in my life.

#we only had a partial eclipse in California #but when the moon was in front of the sun it cooled everything down for a bit #it wasnt as bright outside and it wasnt too hot #it felt like i could be outside without the sun burning my skin. it genuinely felt like what 75°F used to feel like in 2005 #it was so surreal it felt so good #after that the day got super hot again #could barely walk from one store to the next bc of how bright and hot it was we immediately needed cold water to cool off #i miss being able to enjoy walking outside during summer its crazy to have forgotten it
