"That's one hell of a superpower, probably helps you to make friends!" He laughs along with her.

"Carrot cake must really be something special for you - is it the type of cake you'd always want to have on your birthday?" He asks, gingerly stabbing his fork into the cake as he carves off another small piece to be devoured - though it was unlike any cake he'd had before and took some getting used to, at first, it was undeniably very good.

"Well, I'm glad you're enjoying this cake!" In a way, her enjoyment was almost contagious.

"Your parents sound really open minded and fun," He notes this with admiration in his voice, quietly nodding his head in agreement with her as he chews. "I don't know if I'd say there's any I don't like but I can only take so much sweet stuff - just not for me, but fun to have as a treat sometimes. How about you? Anything you don't like?"

Carefully, he managed to maneuver a slice of the cake onto his plate, tilting his head to the side as he eyed up the cake, before ultimately deciding to just take her advice and dig in. Turning his fork over in his hands, he finally jabs his fork into the side of the cake, grabbing a decent bit of cake for himself and hoisting the fork up to his mouth, he digs in to the cake, remaining quiet for several seconds as he simply chews in and takes in the taste.

"Well, it's definitely not like any cake I've ever had before," He admits, finishing his current mouthful of cake. "But it's still pretty good! I'm glad I tried it. Thanks!"

He had to admit, looking down at all of the slopes was a little intimidating - he had never gone skiing before and the last thing he wanted for his first attempt was to make an embarrassing faceplant into the snow.

"I'll trust you then!"

He gives his friend a gloved thumbs up as he gives a confident nod, feeling very much reassured by the presence of his friend - not just because he was with a friend but also one accustomed to skiing - how lucky was he?!

As his friend took off down the slope, he paid close his attention to his friend's movements and followed his leader, gingerly putting his weight on the front as Yosuke had done moments before - and then he let himself begin to slide.

"Here we go!"
