I have been unironically absolutely loving NCIS

My friend has 13 season on dvd and started watching them a couple weeks ago, she had only seen from season 3 forward and had seen most of the show when she was a kid so she wanted to finally revisit the show

I was over one night and we needed something to watch while we ate and she requested NCIS, It's completely out of my comfort zone when it comes to tv shows, brooklyn 99 is probably the closest to it lmao I had never before watched a legit cop drama

I fell in love immediately, of course I don't take it 100% seriously it's a ridiculous show, it's so over the top but it's so fucking fun to watch!

The acting is pretty good the plots a engaging and it's fun to try to guess what happens. The characters are super fun, some of the humor is pretty bad but it's fun to poke at. But honestly it's just a solid show (so far lol)

It has also brought to my attention a new character that has soren into my top five favourite characters of all time. Abby Sciuto my fucking beloved. I love her so god damn much it's not even funny.

Currently on the start of season three, my friends favourite character Siva was just introduced, I currently don't know how to feel about and my friend is trying so hard to make me like her lol

The show has some really obvious copaganda, homophobia (surprisingly little and actually well handeled gay characters also), transphobia (it's pretty bad but what can you expect from a show in the early 00s) and out dated politics about israel and gaza but that's just unfortunate timing I guess. But over all I'm loving thsi goofy ass show

This is the end of my thoughts on a show that will soon get its 1000 episode lol

I watched the Mario movie today, I have surprisingly many thought about it so here we go

The overall movie was fine, it was enjoyable. I would watch it agian but only for the gorgeus animation.

Okay, first of all I have something to say about the voice acting. It was the worst part of the movie. I hate Chris Pratt and his voice was way too monotne the be voicing Mario. There was ONE part where I liked how he sounded, that was whne Luigi and Mario were reunited and hugged, there was a nice break in Mario's voice. But that's all that I liked about his performance. Then Peaches voice. Her voice actor was fine. But the voice didn't fit right, something felt off. She talked so slowly, that bothered me. It just felt weird. The only good and fitting role was Bowser and Jack Black. He did an amazing job. His voice was perfect for bowser. Also Seth Rogen did a fine job as Donkey Kong but I think DK's voice could've been deeper.

Then the story, why exactly did Brooklyn have to be a part of the story? Why did it have to be an isekai? Why couldn't have the whole movie been in mushroom kingdom? I truly don't get it. I hated that the two world collided, it was stange since Brooklyn was not really part of thee story throughout. The story other wise was fine, nothing special. I always wated more of Bowser, he was my favorite part of the movie.

Here's some other stuff, I felt like they crammend way too many referencen into every second. What I liked about hte sonic movies were the subtle references, nothing overwhleming. Something for fans to get. Here it was just reference after reference. It was too mcuh. That said, it was criminal how litlle they referenced Galaxy, only a Luma. (atleast I didn't get any others).

The music choises were a bit iffy at times, the real song alway threw me off a bit. I liked the game music remixes way better than the other songs.

The charcter desings clashed a little with the background especially in Brooklyn, everything looked a bit too realistic with the cartoony characters. I felt that the characters heads were a tad too big, it was very notiacble with Peach. Her proportions felt off. I know I keep praising Bowser but he lookes so fucking cool. I just really love Bowser ingeneral lol.

Talking about him. I loved how feral they made him. He was so good in the end fight. He was FERAL and I loved it. It was laos nice to see a MC actually beat up and bruised, that was neat.

That's all. I'm probably just gonna forget this movie tbh, it was fine but nothing special.

Just ordered a japanese Sonic x dvd box, I'm going insane

I've wanted one for so long but never found one that's under 100€ and delivers to Finland, but I found one for 74€!! I got the last one too I'm so fucking exited

It's a christmas present for myself, it's a bit pricey but I think I deserve a nice treat once in a while

I've had a bunch more time on my hands than normal so I've been watching movies that I've been meaning to watch. I watched Trolls and Trolls World Tour.

When Trolls came out I had no interest in watching it. My sister watched and told me that she really liked it, whitch surprised me because she's 2 years older than me and doesn't really like animated movies. But still I didn't watch it until yesterday.

I actually liked it. That I didn't expect. My favorite part was the animation and the textures. The TEXTURES man, i LOVED how everything looked so fluffy and soft. I just wanted to be able to hug everything it looked so nice.

It was childish sure but it was so much fun. There were some solid jokes and the story was super easy to follow so it's was a really nice easy watch on a saturday night.

I'm very critical about voice actors, I don't really like celebrities as voice actros (looking at you Chris Pratt). It can work, like it did here. Because it's a musical it makes sense that the voice actors are singers. Also I just really like Anna kendrick lol. Only one I didn't like was James Cordon, well I don't like him in general.

I don't know what the general opinion on this movie is, but I liked it and would watch it again. Gonna talk about World Tour in another post but spoiler alert, I liked it more.

Okay another thought about elemental and romance in general.

I like romance in media when it handled well and is not the main focus of the thing I'm watching. For example I absolutely despised Aang and Katara's relationship in ATLA. It just irked me. But I didn't mind Luz and Amity's relationship in TOH.

In elemetal it was different. I've seen that this movie really stuck with the aro/ace group. Which I am a part of, I'm both aro and ace. I think it's because the characters falling in love couldn't touch eachother, there were no kisses or hugs. Just talking and spending time together.

That's what made me like it so much. It's really interesting actually. I'm gonna have to think about how I view my opinion on romance in a new way. That's neat to think about.

Finally had time to watch Elemental, I'm super late but here are my thoughts anyway

I loved it. It was so vibrant and colorful. I loved how it played with the light and colors of the light, it's hard to explain but the lighting was fucking amazing.

The story may be kinda generic but I still loved it. I'm a sucker for romance when it flows naturally and is well written and here it was both.

Loved the characters, Wade was my favourite he's such a cutie but I related to Ember more. I'm a cry baby like Wade but only when alone. And I have a hard time dealing with my temper and feelings like Ember. Anyway, fantastic characters.

All and all, there were some things I didn't like, like the pacing was a little off at times and some of the dialogue was meh but it didn't bother me too much. Overall a fantastic movie :) (I cried way too much)
