Destinies Burning Bright by TriffidsandCuckoos: my absolute favourite so far. merlin's magic is strenghtening and odd things are happening. events transpire. this has such an unique style, I love it!

The Tower by schweet: a short one from uther's POV, made me go "awwww" out loud.

the sweet blackberry is worth the bitter aftertaste by didthattwinkjustcommittreason: excellent mutual pining angst and bed sharing!!! YES!!!

my heart sings for you (make it stop) by amaltaas: arthur makes a deal with a magical being and can hear the music his heart makes. really fun premise and amazing confession scene!

our lips are sealed by eat_crow: a witch makes merlin and arthur drink a truth serum. this is a short one and really funny! excellent use of swear words.

As a Sea Shell by bathilda bagshot (wellthengameover): THIS ONE MADE ME INSANE. TWISTED MY HEARTSTRINGS. and how well written. I am jumping up and down and sobbing. I am laying awake at night. my mind is reeling

Let Go and Watch the Sunlight Bend by cherrybina: it's a hot summer in camelot and arthur struggles with some newfound attractions and merlin tries to help. this made me go whOOOEEEEYYYY (which is high praise)

Golden Age by supercalvin: this has my favourite trope ever, time travel! arthur goes into the future. adorable things ensue.

Damsel in Distress by thehoyden: a dragon kidnaps merlin and arthur follows them. extra points for including a dragon.

for when the need presents itself by derryere: this is straight up smut and it is [swallows loudly] really good

inhiare ardens by microcomets: merlin gets a boyfriend and arthur is jealous. as he should be!!!

Deliquesce by BeautifulFiction: this one is also brilliant, I must especially praise this author's writing skills and way with words. incredible description of battle! and kissing

my landlord sold my place so now I need to move and apartment hunting is the actual worst. it doesn't help that the now-sold apartment was in a new building, it had a huge balcony, and the location was perfect. so now when I'm seeing these shabby ass places for basically the same price with kitchens and bathrooms from the 90s I'm thrown into the pits of despair. I want my bougie renewed apartment. I'm soft now
