Hello! I’m a fellow artist, fandom lover, and I LOVE learning! I was curious what programs you use? As I LOVE your style, especially the way you use light! And would appreciate any advice if you have any :-) as well as just serious round of applause! Your work is beautiful! And thanks for sharing, I love fandoms and seeing how people make art and it inspires! So really AMAZING job!!!
Wow hello! I’m sorry I don’t check tumblr often so I didn’t see this until now 😳. Honestly idek why I was looking so far back in my notifs but thank you so much! I use procreate mostly and I really enjoy the Jingsketch basics brushes which I was able to download for free. The best advice I can give (other than keep practicing obvi) is add some dramatic lighting even if it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. Pick something in your composition that could be a light source and change the layer mode to Add or something similar that you like and use a soft airbrush to add some light! Rim lighting also helps make lighting look much cooler.
