WORSHIP IN THE WILDERNESS I've never fully looked into understanding 'the wilderness'. The wilderness seemed to be obviously the natural place of a desert or desolate place. The wilderness I thought was a place that is not only designed to strip you of all that you know but the wilderness I thought also challenged your faith. In Exodus, it was told that the people of Israel were to go to the wilderness to serve, sacrifice and worship their God. In 1 Samuel, David found refuge in the wilderness. In Psalm, we find compilations of David's prayers and praises to God-- made into songs for worship. Its in 'the wilderness' I cried out and prayed. I found safety and wrote songs to worship Him. In the wilderness its good to just worship God.
