Tristan ever tried to escape from home? I say I know that Tristan is a good boy but I suppose that we all go through a little moment of rebellion in life. Maybe an ugly argument that he had with dad?

This is little dramatic ass Tristan we are talking about right? Please, this little drama lama probably threatens to leave home at least once a week over the silliest things. Meliodas has called his bluffs hundreds of times now. His automatic response to whenever Tristan yells “I’m leaving!” Is a soft half hearted grunt of acknowledgment and a “ok good luck to you, see you at dinner time!” Because he knows as soon as the sun sets and he starts to get cold and hungry, Tristan will come crawling back crying about how he’s been a “horrible baby” and he’s “s-sorry mama and papa!” While burying his face into their legs as he clings to them both. Meliodas always feels a sense of pride in Tristan though for trying be tough and assertive so he doesn’t hold it against Tristan when he begs them for forgiveness since he knows his son already feels awful for his actions. He just makes sure to remind Tristan that he can always come home when he’s ready to make amends. He also makes sure to be extra compassionate towards Tristan when tucking him into bed on the days where Tristan acts out because he never wants his so to have any wavering doubts about whether or not his parents have forgiven him and still love him.

Nanatsu no Taizai | King Harlequin | Father’s Day 2021

In Spain we have always celebrated Father’s Day on March 19 because it’s also Saint Joseph’s Day. So I wanted to give this character a dedicatory for becoming father at the end of NNT’s story.  Last year I was really hoping to draw him along with his canonical child when the day would arrive for 2021. But unfairly, we have to wait a little longer for that.  Meanwhile, I can still draw canonical events like this one with his baby’s birth ❤ Holding his baby’s hand (on giant size? who knows) for the first time must have been one of the best things that ever happened to him.
