Hardwork pays off when laborer's daughter done college.
Feature writing
Tatay Mario a construction worker from Tabaco City, felt an overflowing happiness when her daughter had graduated in college with a course of Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) last year 2018.
Krisel is the name of his daughter, his eldest. While he has another four children also studying in their grade and highschool years. Tatay Mario and his wife said that they are thankfully lucky to God that because of him, it made it happened.
Tatay Mario said.
Despite of their case, they don’t lose hope. Krisel as the eldest daughter find a way to sustain her needs in her study. She got a scholar by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) , which she receives 6,000 pesos per semester and that’s exactly the amount of her tuition in her school.
But this is just enough for her tuition. Tatay Mario double his labor to earn money because his other children need an allowance for their transportation in going to school.
According to them, they also sacrifice their meal for them to attend to school.
Krisel said.
Tatay Mario said.
Tatay Mario added that they can’t deny that there is a time when they are arguing each other between a parent and a child. But love for the family and dreams for a better always win.
Krisel said.
Then, tatay Mario and his wife is now happy because one of their children had finished college. Krisel is now a LET passer teacher and teaches now in a private school where she earns her own salary. In this situation she had now the capability on helping her parents for her siblings to finished their study. At least, they’ve lessened their problem now because until the end they don’t lose their hope.
The saying that “not all individuals are born with a silver spoon in their mouth and living in a wealthy and a privileged life", are meant for them. But they prove it that even though life is unfair and rough they have the capabilities and strengths that they have used for them to get over and surpass all their circumstances in their life. It also made possible for they think that God is always with them.

#Mt. Mayon

Mayon Volcano is also called Mt. Mayon a Spanish term which means “MonteMayon”. It can either called it as simply Mayon or Magayon by the native Albayanoes like me. This volcano is the world’s most perfect cone, and I am proud of it because I grow up at the foot of this volcano together with my siblings and family. My learnings and experiences are molded and developed through the present of this beautiful volcano. I can say that there is an air conditioner here every day, it is so cold. And an extreme coldness during December until the month of February. So, if others want to climb and do their adventure here you can secure and bring thick jackets and extra clothes for the extreme coldness on the higher part of the volcano. My native house is located 6 kilometers away from the danger zone of the volcano, it’s pretty cool right.
According to the records, the symmetry of its shape is 80 miles (130 km) in circumference and rises to 8,077 feet (2, 462 meters) from the shores of Albay Gulf. This volcano is active, there have more than 30 eruptions recorded since 1616. Following eruptions in 2000,2009,2014 and 2018 people are being force to evacuate to nearby villages in order for the safety. The very first-time eruption I’d seen and heard is this 2018 eruption. Where I and my Lola watching television on the house when suddenly we heard like there is a thunderstorm. My Lola peek on the window and she saw that it was the volcano erupting. I am so shocked and amazed while my Lola was so scared and told us to go inside the house for us not to catch dust from the volcano. And it continues to erupt ranging a months before it stops. Then the government made an action on it, they evacuated more than tens of thousands of people away from the volcano for the safety of Albayanoes. The most devastating and destructive eruption was in 1814, when town Cagsawa was buried and approximately 1,200 people were killed.
