gay people never cease to embarrass me cause why did buck and eddie meet, attempt to have a rivalry, and then promptly fail so hard they accidentally declared their undying devotion and promise of lifelong vulnerability and protection to each other within twenty-five minutes of eddie's first episode. couldn't even last a whole forty-five minutes + commercials.

all those ship posts that are like "they're in love they're gonna kill each other they're meant to be they're ruining each other's lives" are so good but none of them can apply to buck and eddie because those guys are just about loving each other harder than the other thought possible. they're best friends they're in love they're climbing into hell to pull the other out. they're making each other laugh they're making dinner in the kitchen and sharing beer. they love each other so much and they like each other even more....
