“Yeah you’re right. I hope she gets some sexy Bond-type as a partner,” she lightly chuckled under her breath. Lou took a moment to watch her friend and to enjoy the steady movement of his fingers circling her hip before she shook herself out of the sad mood that she was falling into. Like she had just said to him, this was a party and that meant celebrating. “Let’s dance!” she insisted with a bright smile. “And it’s my graduation so you can’t say no.”

Unhinging her jaw and downing the vodka like a snake wasn’t a skill that she had learned at Gallagher but she had perfected it over the years. “Fuck I’m gonna miss you!” she exclaimed as the alcohol burned down her throat. “Who am I gonna party with in DC?”

Lou wasn’t usually so mushy nor sentimental but tonight she just couldn’t seem to help it. “I guess I just thought that the three of us would always be together ya know?”

“To the Gallagher girls!” Lou echoed with a large grin before downing her flash of champagne. This was her last big Gallagher hurrah, so she was going to make sure that it was the best one yet. And that required a nice strong buzz. “Fuck I can’t believe it. Don’t let me cry okay? This makeup took forever.”

“Do I need to remind you that this is a party Comrade?” Lou purred as she leaned into his embrace. Her brain was filled with a complicated mix of emotions: a buzz from the champagne, happiness over her boyfriend being back with her, and sadness since she knew that the past four years were coming to an end. “I think so,” she answered with a small sigh as she gazed out at her best friend. “I can’t believe she’s going to London.”

So yes Dimitri had factored into her choice but he wasn’t the whole reason. “Seems like a lot of our class is gonna be there. We’ll probably all run into each at the Mall.”

“It’s still across the ocean,” Lou countered because she had to argue. Both she and Jo were gonna be in DC and not that she would admit it out loud but she had wished that Rowan had made the same choice. Truthfully Lou felt a little abandoned even though she was happy for her friend. “Deal,” she laughed. “Can we go stalk Taylor Swift’s house?”

                                   she considers this, how all the events have found an almost television-like resolution, though she realizes she still has two years left. ‘   it’d only make millions because people wouldn’t believe it’s real.    ’ thinking that if the events of gallagher ever hit mainstream press, there’s no way the school would survive. ‘   who would you want to play you ?   ’ before she realizes this is a question asked out of a rare, pure politeness, since it’s unlikely she’ll know the actress anyways. 

“Play me? Well I doubt anyone could truly capture what it means to be Lou Cabot,” she replied with a low giggle and toss of her hair. Who could ever really get to her level of amazingness? She set a high bar. “But maybe Eleanor Tomlinson. She’s hot and can pull off red hair. What about you?”
