But when Vilgax returns after conquering 10 planets with the intention of conquering earth as well ben decides to don the omnitrix one more time to avenge Max and save the universe. And with the help of a device added to his omnitrix called the matrix core given to him by Myaxx he has just the fire power to do so.

This is a revamp of my "Vilgax rebellion AU"

The premise is after 10 years Vilgax is back with an army and more power than you can imagine he's been conquering worlds left and right and when he gets to Galvin where Azmuth and Myaxx are Myaxx doesn't want to risk Vilgax getting his hands on Azmuths new invention the Matrix core so she sends it to ben with instructions on how to integrate it imto the omnitrix Ben does it and now his alien forms become "upgraded" in the process.

Personality wise this Ben is a combination of OV Ben and AF season 1 Ben he's a cocky fuck sure but he knows when to get serious.

She kept up with her magic powers long after classic and is now a Wiz at them (she can fly and stuff)she also kept in touch with Ben all thse years and they're more like siblings now actually.

When Vilgaxs forces attacked and grandpa max went missing Gwen willingly joined Ben to help fight the threat even though she had her doubts about him putting the omnitrix back on.

Her middle name came from her grandmother who she hasn't met.

She is not an alien

Anodites do exit but they are a species native to ledgerdomain essentially what charmcaster

So grandma Verdona is an anodite but not an alien.

She actually views herself as a witch

She's still about her books and everything but that's not all she's about.

Hero time One More time

Decided it would be best to not be restricted to omniverse and uaf rules and lore so concept wise this is just a composite of the ideas that i liked so the "vilgax arc" as I'll call it is just my redone version of Vengeance of Vilgax but in arc form.

Been away for awhile

School stuff

But i was able to watch the lice action last airbender and honestly

It's ok

It's not great but it isn't by any means bad

Just seems like it needs time to find itself .

The bending looked cool and the visuals were great .

Zuko and iroh were goated

Aang was also very good

Sokka actually ate it up

And Katara just needs more moments fo shine.

Some of the story changes work extremely well some not so muxh

But the heart is there and i hope ot gets renewed for a season 2 so that it can get time to properly shine.

Just came to say that if whenever the next ben10 series is announced it's another reboot it should follow a teenage/young adult ben

I love 10 year old ben but i personally feel like us as a fandom have evolved past having kid Ben be the focal point

Especially if you're gonna give him these OP aliens.

So update on this

Still in china

I've been doing kinda good ig

Did 5 tested aced 3 did well on 1 and failed 1

Despite the fact that I'm doing an intro to Chinese course the teachers in my class are damn near speed running the subject material

So much so that i don't understand whats going on half the time

Which is very frustrating cuz if you ask them to slow down they act offended asf

Pulled an all nighter to do homework and fell asleep late so i asked my teacher if i could skip the morning period just so that i won't be sleeping in class she never responded

Then later that they asked me why i was sleeping in class

Was called into the office over the test i did decent in...that's right not the one i failed

The one i did well enough in

Got a lecture and they've been grouping me together with the people who actually failed the test for reference i got 78 on the test and they're grouping me with people who got 40s and 50s on the test.

The teacher said because we have a few people in the class who speak Chinese(only 5 of them out of 20 students) they're going through the lessons quicker to challenge them and i somehow have to find a way to keep up?????

Asked to be put in a slower class since they were asking for volunteers for a slower class and my teacher didn't approve it

They expect me to be as good as people who've been learning the language for years and it's just very frustrating.

So really it's been hell

I've constantly been swamped with homework and thats legitimately why I've barely been on here and yeahhh

Haven't drawn in 2 months

But i gotta tough it out

Moved to china for school

But my major is being taught in chinese

So i gotta learn chinese

But it's difficult and everyone else in the class is so good at it

And it's frustrating and i deadass just want to huddle in a corner and cry.

But i gotta tough it out cuz my fam back home is supporting me with all their heart and i really wanna do right by them

But i also miss them a fuck ton and i wanna call them and talk to them but doing that just makes me feel worse cuz i miss them alot

As for why his costumes resemble casual clothes

It's simply because

1.Danny is not a superhero he's a vigilante/shounen protag he's not a symbol of hope and peace like Superman ,he's not trying to clean up the city like batman he has powers,ghosts are coming after him and his friends so he fights them eventually he stops just trying to defend his friends and starts defending the town.

2. The 2nd reason is cuz well i don't feel like he needs to have an actual full on supersuit. His appearance changes when he transforms so he doesn't need a mask, he can phase through most attacks so he doesn't need kevlar or armor. And he has a constantly expanding roster of powers so he doesn't need gadgets aside for the fenton thermos so having his "hero suit" look like clothes that an average teen wouls wear seemed cool.

So

I've always kinda thought that my Danny would have 3 costumes.

The one of the left is his first costume and thats Essentially just the clothes he wore when he entered the ghost portal for the 1st time turned black and the one on the right is his most recent costume designed by Sam.

So this is the order he wears it in.
