It bothers me how it's mentioned, especially towards the end of the season, how Charlie has "helped so many" or "touched many souls" or "changed things" or whatever. When in reality she has only helped and saved Vaggie, and Sir Pentious and Angel maybe a little (tbh I feel like they mostly helped each other, and Husk helped Angel more than Charlie ever did).
Charlie mostly just tried to help with superficial lessons and toxic positivity and failed. She tried to change things but mostly just failed, by the end of the season the only thing she's changed is the exterminations, and even with that Lucifer was the one who beat Adam, not her. And they act as if they know the hotel works when the hotel has barely been in the spotlight and they have no idea if souls can even be redeemed.
The writing's not really hitting that well, and I don't buy the romance. The art and animation are excellent, of course, but the pacing feels wonky. There's so much potential to the concept, I hope they would've left the romance out and reworked the story to focus solely on Suzume and her journey.
So, I watch Dungeon Meshi, right? It's a very interesting story, and although I only watch the anime I know the manga goes to some crazy places
Anyways, I just wanna say, Chilchuck x Senshi is some really nice old man yaoi, but I just can't bring myself to fully ship it. It's such a tragic ship, with Chuck being a short-lived species and Senshi being a long-lived one. They'd only have few decades together and that thought is really sad to me T_T
The ATLA comics were just published in Webtoon and I'm so happy~ I've read the first few volumes already and it was a struggle, reading regular comics is hard for me. But they work really well in Webtoon form!
Lol I just learned about the theory that Sir Crocodile is trans, which is still a somewhat believable one. There are hints that I have witnessed myself and trans characters are canon in OP universe.
But the theory that he is Luffy's mom? That gave me a hearty chuckle, it's just the kind of crack theory that gives me both laughs and warm fuzzies, I like it.
So, the creators of Hazbin Hotel have said that Alastor, when he was a serial killer, had a reason for killing his victims. Like, aside from just liking killing or whatever.
A wonderful Pokemon chinese animated short film directed by DaiWei (All Saints Street) and produced by MTJJ / HMCH studio (Legend of Hei) for Chinese New Year.
The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse just made me bawl my eyes out, I really needed to hear some of the lines in that short film, I'm gonna start watching this film every single damn day
Okay, perfect, the family is almost all together (fr that reunion had my heart singing and sobbing). Can we go look for Tech now? 'Cos istg he isn't dead! (I might be slightly delusional but the way he fell into fog and the broken goggles just didn't sell it for me)
You ever read a fic, or watch an AMV, that's dedicated to a certain ship, and a song is played or used in it, and now that song is just...that ship's song. Forever. You'll never listen to it without thinking about that ship. I have multiple songs like that XD But I ain't complaining~
I'm watching Mr. Villain's Day Off, right? Just a feel-good slife anime, I'm not super invested, I just watch it every Sunday night before bed as I unwind for the week to come.
But y'all. I got terminal shipper brain. And when I saw how pretty Black is, and the review at the end of the latest episode...
Is it just me or would the titular Mr. Villain and Black make a really nice, chill (but not really) pairing with some old married power couple vibes that have, like, 5 cats?
