Modern (60s-ish) AU for Xander and Eleni.

Eleni: Textbook housewife, minus the gossiping, and the ultimate classy lady. Very active in the neighborhood, always visiting with the neighbors and helping out where needed. Usually has flour smudges on her face and apron, but it's charming, rather than sloppy. Always smiling, always friendly. It's a mystery how she wound up marrying the most reclusive man alive.

Xander: Incredibly shrewd man, has a lot of connections. Nobody is sure what exactly he does for work, only that he is rather good at it. The gossip is he's a fixer for the mob, though the truth is far, far darker. In any case, he's someone to be respected from a distance.

“the problem is its never gonna be what all the fans want” imo the problem is the majority of fans have bad fucking taste like. if you write a story with the intent to keep editing it in line with what fans want you’re gonna end up with a shitty story. obviously you can take in criticism from early access but once you publish the thing you shouldn’t constantly be retconning characterization wtf. good god
