Just a little update after four years… no big

So apparently Tony's got a kid. And apparently everyone's out to get said kid. Hydra wants to use him to get to Tony, his uncle likes beating on him, and the kids at school are cruel and hurtful.

All right, so his son needs a little protecting. That shouldn't be too hard. The boy's adorable. Plus, his dad is Iron Man.

“Why you got a fucking rugrat?” Tony asked, leaning backwards against the wall.

The kid looked annoyed, and Fury rolled his one eye. “This is Peter Parker. I’d be nice, cause he’s how you’re gonna get your car battery.”

Tony narrowed his gaze. “He’s got car batteries?”

“No, but you’re gonna take him to where the car batteries are.”

“Oh fuck no, Fury. I don’t take random kids on road trips.”

“Well, it’s not really a road trip is it?” Piped up the kid. “Since you don’t have your car battery. You know? Not like we’re gonna be driving.”

Tony stared. “Ok Fury who the fuck is this kid?”

Fury put a hand on Peter’s shoulder. “I told you. He’s Peter. And,” he reached down, lifting up Peter’s sleeve to reveal an old, healed over bite mark. “He’s immune.”

I absolutely adore the way she can just whip out amazing headcanons at whim omggg wtf they are all so freaking cute and good and HER WRITING oof It’s so soft one minute and then the next: bam! there’s the whump. Emma. My dude. My pal. Her writing just blows me away every single time I read it. Like the way she can create such a realistic and heart-wrenching story line in only a few chapters is incredible and the vividness of her imagery and details puts me to shame oof I adore everything she writes and have cried multiple times while reading. Noxy Noxy Noxy. She is one of the newer IronDad writers but gosh dang if she isn’t amazing. She can write some fluff like it’s no one’s business but when she sprinkles in some amazing hurt/comfort, that’s when shit really goes down. The way she writes such Soft!Protective!ItalianSpeaking!DadTony is honestly amazing and the way he interacts with her cute af and soft Peter just brings tears to my eyes. I love her so so so much and her writing is as beautiful as her. (She also writes some rockin’ Into The Spider-Verse fics so if you’re into that, go check out her stories please). :D

ahhhhh I love both her art and her writing because they are just so fucking good. Her Titanic IronDad AU (along with the amazing fanart to go with it), is honestly one of the best and most historically driven stories I have ever read. The way that she can blend in flashbacks with the present is just fucking incredible and her whump is to die for (har har). Her characterization is always on point and the way that she writes with so much heart is honestly awe-inspiring and I adore her and everything she puts into this Fandom

AFTER THE SUCCESS OF THE 2021 AWARDS, WE’RE COMING BACK WITH A BIGGER TEAM AND EVEN MORE ENTHUSIASM.

WHAT — Awards for fanfic and art creations and creators of the Irondad Fandom.

WHEN — Nominations start January 1st and are open until February 27th 2022.

NOMINATIONS - You can vote for your favorites here now.

VOTING - HOW — Voting will be split into three rounds, starting with all nominations and then cut down by votes until the final with the Top Five.  

WHY DO THIS — We had so much fun last year and got to showcase so many amazing creators. Many of you got in touch on the voting form and on Tumblr to thank us for the awards and for bringing their attention to new creators, so we’re coming back again. We have some of the most amazing creators in the Marvel Fandom, and it’s time they got another chance to shine.
