Maybe it’s an unpopular opinion but I am kind of sick of people suggesting that the only good representation is showing a queer couple happy with no drama. It’s important to treat queer relationships as any other straight relationships and within those relationships problems also exist. I know that too many times not straight couples are treated unfairly and many times the relationships have been shown in the bad light. But that doesn’t mean that queer relationships should be all rainbows and flowers. We have a season of a lesbian character who’s trying to navigate through a break-up. Learn how to deal with it and face the problems she choose to avoid for years (I mean hopefully). And she’s literally treated as any other straight main and her sexual orientation isn’t main focus but simply a part of her life. And yet people go and criticise the writers and dare to say that they don’t know how to write queer characters. In my opinion a good representation is when a queer character is treated as any other straight main would be. And this season proves that. I don’t know how they will execute the rest of the story but I am really positively surprised how good the build-up has been so far. And the potential for the rest of story-lines is enormous. 

(Plus, a shout out to Ayumi, what an actress she is. Very impressive.)

Firstly, Damn Ayumi’s acting is sooooo good. I love these middle of the night clips but also MAAAXXXXX!!

You know what am loving how Shirley keeps expanding on lamifex with every season. Bilal not wanting to burn clothes because to him every piece of clothing is so important. Max saying he felt like Maya would disappear if he told her how he felt after the break up completely contextualizes how Max pulled away from Tiff with the Aurelien situation. When he feels like someone may leave him he just retreats into himself and processes everything alone. Awwwww Max….. I wanna give you a hug baby!!

Omg I think Hajar is affianced. 👀 The other day she posted a story about how her friends are teasing her because Malala Yousafzai got married and they're asking when is her turn.
