Heyy, could you recommend me Twitter accounts to follow?
Ooft that's a good question! I'm a fairly casual twitter user, in that I do hang out there, but most of the time I'm just retweeting pretty art. I tend to follow a mix of official accounts (e.g. @shingeki_bo, @anime_shingeki) other fans, and lots and lots of Asian artists (e.g. @ikichi8tkjn, @maino_merry, @HLvanish, @_Chia_Mo_, @SanRiva44, @kasagana_i, @LK_cyz)
You can see some of the accounts I follow here: https://twitter.com/LostEruri/following That should give you a starting point. Following some of these accounts will lead you to others that are also active in the fandom.
One account that's really active at the moment that you might like to follow is @EruriWriMo a month long event for creators to help promote creative expression and community building.

My friend showed me Erwin’s official Christmas art.  She said Levy was hiding in the bag. And I immediately had an idea XD

Hello!!! Is there any Levi event happening for his birthday month? Any countdown or anything planned to look forward to?
I'm so sorry, your message has been languishing in my in box all month and we're now less than a week away from Levimas. The very belated answer is that I don't think there is a specific fandom event planned for Levi's birthday this year, but some fans have been sharing art, fic, and posts on twitter using the hashtags #levi23 and #levi2023. Also, if previous years are anything to go by, I'm sure many fans will have posts lined up to celebrate Levi's birthday on the 25th ❤️

I can't decide one thing, Do you think Levi truly knew how much he meant to Erwin? Or do you think a part of him always felt like he had to be useful to Erwin? If they both survived the war and Levi still had the same injuries or lost his Ackerman powers, do you think he would feel useless to Erwin? I guess the question is more about Levi's self esteem; do you think he ever felt like Erwin wouldn't look at him twice if he wasn't so strong? he seems very confident usually but it's often comes from his strength and he's a very emotional person deep down and being the strongest is a heavy burden.
Huh, interesting question Anon. I mean you're right, Levi was driven to use his power to help Erwin to "save humanity". That's what Kenny was getting at chapter 69 when he said that Levi was a "slave" to being a hero. And Levi himself was blunt about the fact that he had no problem being the lunatic who kills people so all of humanity didn't have to be damned.
Tumblr media
Whether Levi thought that fighting was the only way he could be of use to Erwin is debatable though. Something that's often overlooked is that Levi doesn't just lend Erwin his physical strength, he lends him his emotional strength too and that is arguably more important. Levi provides Erwin with unwavering trust and support, even after he learns that he is driven by his dream, not just the noble goal of saving humanity. That's why the crate scene is so significant, Levi gives Erwin the strength to make the decision to set his dream aside and to sacrifice his life to serve humanity.
I also think Erwin would have been at pains to convince Levi that he didn't just value him for his physical strength and willingness to kill. (This has always been fertile ground for fic writers to explore.) There's a lovely scene in the Smartpass Close Up Interview where Erwin explains to the interviewer that Levi's reputation among his comrades isn't just based on his strength alone, but on his kindness and warmhearted nature.
Erwin: …Alright. Starting with Levi…I think he is excellent at shouldering important duties. With the title “Humanity’s Strongest” as part of the SC, our reputations have also been elevated. On the battlefield, he has also faithfully completed the tasks I have assigned to him. Despite his warmhearted nature, I’ve asked him to carry out some cruel missions… Journalist: Is Captain Levi very…”warmhearted?” Erwin: You’ve already interviewed his subordinates, right? Then you must have heard just how much they trust their captain. Journalist: Indeed. I even heard the same thing from new recruits who are not from his squad. Erwin: He just has a rude attitude…but he cherishes his comrades’ life more than anyone else. His reputation cannot be established based on strength alone, Humans can subconsciously detect how much concern others have for them… and when they notice this kindness, it inspires power…That is something that I can’t do.
Levi was there with Erwin when he was being interviewed, so I hope he took his words to heart.
So in answer to your question, if Erwin and Levi had both survived the war and Levi had lost his powers, I think he would still have found ways to be "useful" to Erwin, even if it was just making him coffee in the morning, and twining his arms around him at night.

Granblue Fantasy x Attack on Titan Collaboration Eruri Moments
In the game Granblue Fantasy, Levi's homescreen speech is: "Erwin... What you wanted to see, what you wanted to know in the outside world, I will learn everything and take them back to you."
LEVI - I'M TRUSTING YOU SCENERIO
Levi: I see... The world beyond the walls... Like the skies above, this place is unimaginably vast. Erwin... The world you imagined is right here before my eyes. Not a bad sight.
Levi whispers as he stares at the sky.
Erwin: That is an order.
Levi: I said no.
Erwin: ...
Levi: Wasn't it your dying wish to see the world beyond the walls? This is your chance. Right before you... I shouldn't be going. You should.
Erwin: I have to carry the burden of the dead on my shoulders... I must stay and know what becomes of the dedicated hearts. My responsibility lies here. This is what I must do as a Survey Corps commander. Levi... Do it. Gather every piece of useful information and bring it back to me.
Erwin puts his desires second and his duty to protect the country as commander first. Levi stares at Erwin's tightly clenched fist.
Levi: (He's trying to control himself...) I understand. I will go in your place.
In need of supplies, the crew stops on an island populated with mountains. Seeing another island for the first time, Levi's eyes wander with excitement in all directions.
Levi: So... This is the world beyond the wall. .... Levi: I guess Erwin's choice to send me was no mistake.
Levi vows to learn as much as possible on this trip and tell Erwin everything.
TITANIC YEAGER - THE WALLED COUNTRY SCENERIO
Levi: If you don't have a plan, it'll only be a matter of time before we have to hand over Eren and the Survey Corps is disbanded.
Erwin: Things are already in motion.
Erwin elaborates no further.
Neither does Levi question Erwin any longer.
There's only one thing left to say.
Levi: Understood. I'll trust in your judgment.
Given their history, that is enough to bring about a mutual understanding through unspoken words. ...
Erwin and Levi, two people who have overcome death at every step. Their experiences have forged a genuine bond of trust.
... Levi: I trust you, Erwin.
TITANIC YEAGER - CHANCES AND CONSEQUENCES SCENERIO
Eren: Commander Erwin?
Levi: Shut up, recruit.
...
Levi: Every soldier in the Survey Corps believes in the commander, including myself. Whatever the outcome may be, we know that believing in Erwin gives us the highest chance of survival. That's all we can do—put our faith in the commander and advance.
...
Eren: Captain? What was the commander talking about?
Levi: ...
Eren: Captain?
Levi doesn't answer.
After a long pause, he finally speaks.
Levi: I said to trust him.
TITANIC YEAGER - COUNTERATTACK ON TITAN SCENERIO
Levi: While you guys were fighting, my squad was bringing repair supplies to the Grandcypher. Not a bad plan, but you were treading on thin ice. We could've lost everything if we were even a second too late.
Erwin: It was a big gamble, one that relied on perfect timing. You did well, Levi.
Levi: Save it.
Rackam: Is your boss always like this?
Levi: Yeah. Always. But you have nothing to worry about.
TITANIC YEAGER - ENDING SCENERIO
Erwin: Levi!
Levi: Sigh... Being a failsafe is such a nuisance.
Erwin: Haha. Good luck.
There is still hope yet for this oft cruel world.
Travelers from the sky have planted the seeds of light within the dark hearts of confined humanity.
Erwin and the Survey Corps salute the crew for what they provided—a chance meeting in a sea of despair.
Erwin: All the best on your journey, hope of the sky! To humanity's freedom...

Erwin: If I had a nickel for every time Levi beat up a fifteen-year-old boy with a name beginning with E, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. Right? Alphonse: What's a nickel? Erwin: *shrugs* not a bloody clue

Hi, I was wondering if Erwin is German or English, judging from his looks or some other things? What do you think? German or English or .... ?
You mean do I headcanon Erwin as being German or English? I don't have particularly strong feelings either way tbh. Erwin is not a common English name, but Smith very much is, and with his blond hair and blue eyes, he could certainly pass for either. I did write him as English in Cardamom, but in modern AUs I usually leave his nationality unstated, to let other readers make their own minds up.
Incidentally, I recently discovered that in the past Erwin was a variant spelling of the common Scottish name Irvine. It doesn't seem to appear very often, but it's enough for me to claim Erwin as Scottish 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

are you excited about ch136 animation?
I'm not sure if excited is the right word 😬 Apprehensive? Emotional? The crate scene is so emblematic of Erwin and Levi's relationship, seeing it one last time, and under such devastating circumstances is really going to hurt. I just hope MAPPA do it justice.

Hey Lost what do you think people thought of Erwin making Levi his captain? I grew up surrounded by soldiers because my father was a colonel and military in aot feels weird sometimes. I ignore the most of it but it's interesting that Erwin made Levi his captain because even if they managed to hide Levi's background from public in ACWNR we see that other SC soldiers knew that he was a thug. This guy one day shows up randomly, has no military training and in a short time he gets a huge promotion before other veterans? People would talk. And Erwin isn't stupid, he wouldn't just promote someone because they are good at killing titans which makes my Eruri brain ho crazy because how did Erwin decide that he can fully trust Levi, when did they form this bond HOW DID IT HAPPEN I need isayama to tell me because I know that's how they fell in love lol
Levi’s rank has been the subject of enormous speculation and confusion over the years precisely because it is so anomalous. Unfortunately we never get to see Levi’s promotion to captain, but if you line up the dates, it must have been Erwin who promoted him. It’s unlikely to have been Shadis.  But Erwin didn’t just promote Levi, he created an entirely new rank for him that sits outside the normal chain of command. Isayama confirmed this in a 2014 Frau magazine interview where he said that Levi’s rank is an “exceptional role that does not belong to the ranking hierarchy” (transl. @tsuki-no-ura).   Levi is the one and only captain of the Survey Corps. It doesn’t appear that Levi outranks the other Squad Leaders though, his rank seems to be tangential to theirs.  @momtaku, @tsuki-no-ura and I have written few posts about Levi’s rank over the years, which you can read here and here. The Shingeki no Kyojin Outside Guidebook also contains a lot of information about the structure of the different branches of the military if you can track it down.
When Erwin first recruited Levi to the Survey Corps, some of the other Squad Leaders where clearly unhappy, Flagon in particular,  but Erwin was adamant that Levi could revolutionise the Corps.  It’s impossible to know if Levi’s promotion to captain was met with similar mistrust or if people had come to appreciate his skill and strength by that stage.  I can’t help wondering if Levi became known as Humanity’s Strongest round about the same time, and whether Erwin had something to do with that epithet.  It was certainly useful in raising the profile of the Survey Corps and Levi’s acceptance within it.
Tumblr media
As to how Levi and Erwin came to trust each other, that’s a question that has fascinated the fandom for years, and I know many fans would give their right arm for a manga or anime that covered the period from ACWNR to SnK.  Thankfully we have the amazingly talented writers of the Eruri fandom to help us imagine what might have happened. Almost every author has written their own post ACWNR fic at some stage.  I’ve got a rec list of some of my favourites here: Post-ACWNR fics
