about ai: he’s grown so much over the time he’s known you and has been able to come into his own with the help of the people who love him and it’s so wonderful to see! he’s curious and he’s also more himself, if that makes sense? like he’s embraced more of who he is!

yes! part of it is the whole quartet night needing to learn to heal from their traumas (and unlearn the toxic coping mechanisms and habits they’ve developed as a result) and to slowly understand and trust each other as a team, but his whole character arc means so much to me. just being able to see him letting himself learn to be his own person and not just seeing himself as being built to be aine’s replacement and how that reflects in his music too (and especially with the illustration for the new qn solo albums and how this is the first we get to see the robotic skin layer on ai like he’s finally learning to be comfortable in his own skin?!)

you aren’t wrong. she was fairly lonely both due to being considered relatively low born in the royal circle of her family and due to the isolation from her mother’s abuse and the her later madness from her mother poisoning her. it’s also a pretty big theme in nero’s route in fate/extra when she talks about when how she ended her life after being driven from rome and why she considers meeting and falling in love with hakuno such blessing. and honestly i think it’s a big reason why she fell in love with theater and art and why she’s such a romantic.

thank you adrian! i can’t believe it’s only a little less than 2 weeks until she’s playable and i can make bad life decisions. i’ve already rewatched the 4.6 trailer more times than probably necessary and it’s only going to get worse when her trailers come out :)

and if she did that i’d simply pass away (but it does also give me certain thoughts about knight!arlecchino and ummm )
