honestly in general im just really bad at classpecting I struggle w it 😔 so I decided instead of doing that since there's a way to not really Have to classpect though hiveswap that I find narratively interesting might as well lean more towards that as inspo!

ive only read the original HS back in the day so my knowledge of modern lore is.... limited

if you're looking to check out any more recent hs media i HIGHLY recommend hiveswap friendsim! honestly, I like it more than any of the homestuck ive read (and more than the actual main hiveswap game it's a spinoff from)

in general modern hs can be... a hit or a miss (cough cough hs2 cough epilogues cough) but friendsim is just. a really great vn.

hiveswap as a whole is also what this au is modeled after!

I mean we just recently had dead end land on the English server, how much more of a sign do you want for clown mayoi

But maybe he'd be purple but not really into the whole,, clown culture. He never interacted with anyone face to face before he was part of alkaloid.

mayoi and english server in the same sentence hurt me so bad I blew everything trying to get his sanrio lim and nothing </3 literally got me to quit the server lmao

honestly maybe it's bc snowbound blood (I have not read vast error) (i really like endari) but I like the idea of mayoi being like. maybe a former clown. recovering from his clown related trauma. w the help of alka who got him out of there. so he's still purple but not like clown purple just regular purple

It's rly hard to classify especially rinne and kohaku bc they're so far outside regular society... niki is mid-low, normal guy. HiMERU would make a good jade imo.

Hiiro same as rinne, aira also normal guy, tatsumi feels teal to me (just above meru), mayoi purple or mutant he's such a weirdo

part of me is thinking maybe the amagis are lime but also I'm not sure if I want to keep that just to sora and mademoiselle yet

but also ooo I like himeru jade tatsumi teal... I feel like aira would make a good goldblood but that might just be bc zebede exists and I'm seeing connections there-
