another fun fact ive learned recently is that, since many pharma companies and countries have banned the US from buying drugs for use in lethal injections, the standard execution of death row inmates is carried out by means of an absolute concoction that is questionable at best & severely criticized by physicians & in some states considered too inhumane for animal euthanasia.

there are also known cases of no one checking labels and replacing one of the components with the wrong fucking chemical, illegal aquisition of substances, and hoarding of the drugs in death row prisons while there are shortages in hospitals (where they would be used to keep people alive actually)
