A great work week in Boise has come to an end 👍 All the Larry H Miller stores in the Boise market are hard at work 💪 We took and early flight in so we could hit the ground running 🏃 We fueled up at a Starbucks and Danny blew my mind with his drink order 🤯 Brown sugar shaken expresso with extra shot, Carmel drizzle, 1 pump toffee and chocolate foam 😎 We caught the Subaru team on Taco Tuesday 🌮 the first Tuesday of each month the best taco truck in Boise stops by to fill this crew up 🤗 At LHM Used Car Super Market the team is busy refining there process. They have a goal to be the best place in Idaho to buy a used vehicle and soon it will be 😀 You’ve got eat some time…I dragged the team to west side drive it. If it’s good enough for Guy Fieri - Diners drive-ins and dives it’s good enough for us 😅 This week a reviewed the results of the caliper assessment I took a few weeks ago. it’s an interesting exercise. A great thank you gift for my ten-year anniversary 🎉🎊🍾 Found another amazing team member to recognize for a job well done 👍 Tracy Listul working hard behind the scene to keep our customer files clean and complaint. The entire team at LHM Honda Murray is focused on being the most guest centric Honda store in Utah 😎 Even with all the great work we did this week. Special thanks to Scott Harding and the team @lhmhonda Charlie’s 05 Accord took some tire 🛞 sidewalk damage. How it happened is still a mystery 🤨 The LHM Honda Murray service team was awesome. They fit our car in despite a full schedule 🗓 I knew the tire was toast and Charlie mentioned the brakes weren’t as good as they used to be. Rigo my service advisor listened to my concerns and sent the car back for a multi point inspection 👀 We were able to get a new tire, alignment, oil change and rear brake job. It only took a couple of hours 👍 This vehicle has been in our family for 17 years 🤯 188621 miles. It’s a little tired for sure. Had a great work trip to Boise. I’ve got a lot of love ❤️ for the city and it was fun to see it through to eyes 👀 of out of town guests. Strolled the green belt, walked around down town, freak alley and made time for breakfast 🍳 at Goldy’s 👍 The Boise Larry H. Miller stores are working hard to be the most customer centric dealers in the state. Savanna at the Boise Used car supermarket helped me make a Dutch Bros run 🏃♂️ for there great team. The green inflatable is having fun even on the hot 🥵 day. The LHM Boise Subaru team just won 🏆 2022 Best of Boise! Being recognized as Boise best dealership😎 It was a good trip but it feels good to get back home. Ended up in the dreaded 😱 SLC airport terminal B. Which is a bus 🚌 ride from the plan. To an outdoor hallway that is currently a convection oven 🥵 when you get inside it’s just a short 1/2 mile walk to the baggage claim. It’s been a great 👍 day but a long one. Started at 5:27am and a beautiful sunrise 🌅 Early flight ✈️ from Salt Lake to Boise. Spent the day with the hardworking team @lhmhondaboise Today we were able to recognize Ruben Mora in sales and Alex St. Germain for providing outstanding customer service 😎 I spent some time with Stephen Smith the stores Internet Sales Manager. A great week has come to an end🔚 I suited up for the first time in a few years 🕴 I was able to sit in on an awesome sales manager training lead by Tom Greene the amazing General Manager at Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Boise. When a leader like Tom takes time out of his busy schedule to travel down to SLC and speak to these future leaders it makes a huge impact. 🙏Thanks Tom! The weekend is coming to an end and I’m super excited to start the week 😁 I was trying to pump Cannon up to do his chores…He wasn’t impressed 😒 My chores are dusting 💨Vacuuming and mopping 🧽 I also took some times to get the @colehaan spiffed up. I love these shoes 👞 for work 👍 Family meeting at @asianstarslc we’ve heard great things about it but finally made the trip. It was good, if you have been it’s worth a try 🥡 After dinner we hit Fizzfest in our neighborhood. Artist 👩🎨 produces pieces while you watch. We’ve gone each year. It’s a great way to spend a summer evening. This morning Steve Robinson gave me a guided tour of Butterfield canyon so I could down into the copper mine. It’s so huge it blew my mind 🤯 They’ve been mining that spot for 120 years and it’s just massive. Finally Charlie and I stopped in the mountain 🏔 view village. It’s coming along nicely. Up and at it early today. G-Pa and I hit CJ strike for a fishing 🎣 trip. It was an ok day. We each caught a few small ones and a few nice ones. You can see G-PA’s trophy 🏆 bass in the video After fishing we hit Fancy Freeze for dinner. They say they have Idahos best soft serve 🍦 ice cream. I’m not an expert, but it was pretty good 👍 G-PA when out on a limb and ordered the huckleberry burger 🤮 He said it was pretty good, I’m still a little suspicious. Wrapping up the night watching Argo with Ben Afflec I’ve seen it before, but it still was an intense watch. I spent most of the day with Ken and the hardworking team at Larry H. Miller Honda Boise. For the last ten years I’ve looked up to Ken Pifer as a leader and mentor. Having the opportunity to take over his previous position as he takes on his new role as GM of the Honda store is a dream come true. I had a few minutes to stop by the Larry H. Miller Used Car Supermarket. This building was full of memories, it’s where I started my career when it was the Subaru building. I remember when this shrubs were planted and now they are like trees 🌳 Finished the day at Larry H. Miller Subaru. It felt like I was visiting home for thanksgiving. These three Neil Bryant, Peter Webster and Troy Sawyer are my brothers of another mother 😎 For over ten years they’ve dedicated there lives to helping customers buy Subaru’s and you’ll never find a better group of people 👍 I found this ticket 🎟 to hell while picking up some trash. To me it felt like picking up a coin 🪙 so I think it’s good luck 🍀 Cannon was a good sport and put the miles 🚶in with me at the end of the night. We walked to the Maverick and he was very excited to use the self check out. This morning I received this amazing text from my wife. She knows me so well. “Good morning. Good luck today! I hope you have a productive day.” For the last ten years, I’ve been working in dealerships. The effort, hours, and care, my coworkers, put in every day are inspiring. I’ve been stepping into my new role this week. I’ve visited our Honda, Toyota, Lexus, and Chevy stores in Murray Utah. The Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram store in Bountiful and Boise as well as Honda, Subaru, and Used Car in Boise. These are great brands staffed by amazing people. I feel blessed that I have the opportunity to support them. I’m excited to see how great we can all do together. I bumped into an old friend Paul. He is a true professional. He doesn’t know it but I tell salespeople about what a pro he is all the time. Over the 4th of July weekend, I lost focus on my discipline. Jumped from 216 to 221.5 trying to get back on track now…Probably shouldn't have had GYRO SHACK for dinner. I have been getting the workouts and miles in religiously. Found this little rabbit when I was finished with my walk. Started the day Sturgeon fishing 🎣 this morning with Uncle Jon and G-Pa. I thought the largest one caught today was a four footer 📏Jon felt it was closer to three feet.
