Zora sighs a little bit as they are letting that thought sink in that much further for them.

"I mean.. I think you have a point Stellae. I had heard some things about the body, the form keeping memories that might not be otherwise accessible to someone. I'm just.. not sure how how to feel about that."

Because if Stellae somehow meant that as a comforting statement, Z has a few memories embedded in them that might prove otherwise.

"No. Actually, there's this one time I actually managed to work on something with a ghost actually. I visited this spot that was previously a home for an art collective and there were some lingering spirits around who were part of it. Got the chance to do a collaboration across the veil. It was.. a whole process getting that setup. But it was super cool."

Z had moments where they weren't really sure how to tell Hana what they wanted. Especially when they weren't sure that they were going to be able to get it from her.

That's not a slight on Hana, it's just an awareness of a lot of Zora's thoughts and .. impulses sometimes came from strange places.

They found themself a little distracted when Hana had asked them what they were wanting in the moment.

"Oh. I .. maybe I just need to go for a walk or something. A chance to move around might be good, gotta let my head wander a bit more I guess. "

Of course, they are taking a little bit of around the way route to get there, because it is a literally underground happening that Zora is leading Jaemin to - but still.

"The themes is about hidden connections and ruptures to current ways of being. I promise we can definitely leave soon if you don't want to stick around there too long. But it.. it's a really curious place."

Z offers a little reassuring squeeze of his hand along the way.

"I don't even know how I managed to forget that.. one thing." They sighed, shaking their head and feeling genuinely a little embarrassed. And to think they were so excited to make something together with Chaim again.

"Suppose that is the only thing that can be done. Might as well look over what we do have and whip something up .. while you're already here."

Zora stretches a little bit - they had been in a bit of a low mood. Perhaps getting out would be.. helpful. It's worth a shot at least.

"Alright, alright. I'm not arguing with you about it. Although we will have to be careful about that gas thing. I'm down to go to the beach though. A change in location.. would be nice. Let me grab a bag right quick alright?"

The item .. whatever it was seemed to be dangerously radioactive. The sort of thing no one should touch at any given moment. And here, Zora had managed to hold onto it, and even play around with such a strangely powerful thing without being bothered by it.

"If anything it was kind of comforting for me to hold. Which.. says a lot about what I have going on. But.. figured better me have a hold on it than someone actually getting hurt by it."

it had been quite some time since zora had been near, their ventures often taking them places far and wide. besides, the idea of anyone recognizing them much.. while not impossible didn't seem to be anything to plan for.

so they were especially taken aback when they are seeing luffy running towards them at a high sprint. long arms already hand their shoulders grabbed so there's really no place for them to go.

boom! there's a collide and z has to practically stumble with some swears pouring out of their mouth. as nice it is to see luffy, he sure has a way of making his presence very, very obvious.

"..damn, i mean hello hello to you as well luffy." they sigh but do wrap their arms around him, clearly endeared by the enthusiasm he displayed nevertheless.

he’s running at full speed, as fast as his legs can possibly carry him. even when they’re in his sight, he shows no signs of slowing down. in fact, he speeds up, practically barreling forward. rubbery arms shoot forward, long enough to grab onto their shoulders. he only stops, so he can step backwards, launching forward at a very high speed, until their bodies collide.

and when he’s close enough, he pulls them into a real hug. his definition of a real hug, anyways. arms wrapping around not once, not twice, but three times. he says nothing, but from the look on his face, hes ecstatic to see them again.
