She feels lonely

She doesn’t know why

It isn’t only

Now, but all the time

She sits there

With unshed tears

In her eye

Under the calm night sky

With only the stars and the moon

By her side

As her silent pleas

Are carried away

By the sullen breeze

To a place far away

Over the wistful seas

Stranded in a isle

Filled with dreaded thoughts

Making way for pain

Leaving her distraught

What can she do

Where can she go

When she's trapped

Inside a place

Where her heart is desolate

And only sadness

Is known to her.

Can you feel that tingling in your heart,

Are you sure it's real?

Cause I think it's not.

Somewhere deep down

I knew

That I considered

Love to be a "cliche"

The perfect romance

Read in books and

Seen in movies

Seemed too good to be true

In a place where nothing

Is what it is

We all found love to be great

Leaving me to wonder

Why?

How special is this love?

And most importantly,

What is love?

Love is when you waited four years knowing that i would love you back,

Now i know how you felt all this while

Cause this time

It's me who's waiting

And you've got to love me back.

Love is when you cried your eyes out the first time i said "I love you"

It used to be so special

But now it's only a memory

Love is when you always knew what to say when things went wrong

I remember crying

And cracking up the next second

All because of you

Love is when you make me laugh at the stupidest stuff

Just to cheer me up

The little things like "I'm here" when I'm not okay

And "we'll be alright" when times are rough

As dumb as this sounds

Love is when I felt lightheaded

And could feel the butterflies exploding in my tummy

When I saw you after months

I know you're hurt

And I know your pain

It wasn't you

I'm the one to blame

But love isn't fate or destiny

It's a choice

One we get to make

How much it killed me knowing I'm the reason why

Don't Hold Back.

Do you want to know something,

Something true,

You don’t know what you have until its gone from you,

You may not have a lot of time to hold,

So take a step forward and just be bold,

Go out there and let your emotions free,

For all to feel and for all to see,

Cause that’s when you realize,

What you should’ve done,

When you had time,

Now you have none,

The memories and moments you had will remain,

But that longing and sadness will bring you pain,

Cause the feeling to be and just stay together,

Is something which will bother you forever,

Concealed in your heart,

For no one to know,

You don’t want to let it out,

You won’t let it show,

The words inside which you’re longing to say,

“Don’t leave! Please just stay”

But what to do now,

Life must go on,

You can’t do anything to something that’s gone,

Forget the sadness forget the pain ,

They say it’s me,

Who’s wrong,

They say its me the one who’s not strong,

One by one,

I take the blame,

The hits, the stares,

The one with no shame,

How I want to apologize,

But how can I when I’m “not nice”,

Anger, hatred inside of me ,

That’s what they think,

That’s what they see,

But how I feel, is misunderstood,

No one knows,

I hoped they would,

Disappointment, something not new to me,

Every day every night,

That’s all I see,

And there I sit,

Thinking and thinking,

About a fit,

I just threw,

And maybe, oh maybe,

If I had said sorry,

They would love me too .

look outside and sniff your noses,

cause there lies a field of roses,

but oh! wait, look over there,

in the middle, a single daisy, pretty and fair.

look at how it stands in all its glory,

between the roses without a worry,

even though it's pretty and magnificent,

no one cares about its beauty or scent,

blinded by the beauty of the roses in the field,

they leave a wound in the daisy to be healed,

stuck out there all alone,

with no friends or family or a place to call home,

in a sea of roses does it stand,

patiently waiting for a gentle hand,

to take it away from the horrible truth,

which was and which is,

who would pick a daisy in a field of roses?
