one post i saw on here ages ago that has always resonated with me is how being a woman loser is kind of distinct because you can always bounce back no matter how long you spend throwing your life away. i think the key to that resilience is imagining all your depressive episodes and periods of life-wasting self-sabotage as fodder for your backstory. most people dont even really start to become interesting until the tail end of their 20s and into their mid-late 30s.
