ANCIENT REPTILIAN BRAIN – You’re a son of the World again, Harrister. A ceaseless agent picking up litter and old newspapers, collecting your little bubble gum wrappers and idiotic picture postcards. Meaningless, meaningless keepsakes.
LIMBIC SYSTEM – Reading your awful letters and recalling things, aren’t you? The endless names of the world…An address book, you are. The map of a city.
YOU – But what if I want to be an agent of nothing.
ANCIENT REPTILIAN BRAIN – It’s too late. You’re not made of nothing any more. You’re something now, Harry. I tried to drown you in the black water but you re-emerged, kicking and screaming. Running.
And for what?

POLICE ARE USING TEARGAS AND WATER CANNONS AGAINST PEACEFUL, UNARMED PROTESTERS.
THIS IS WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO US. I’M FUCKING ANGRY THAT I CAN ONLY SIT HERE AND UPDATE SHIT.
PLEASE REBLOG AND SIGNAL BOOST.

If the conditions are just right, you can see a spectacular sight at Congaree National Park in South Carolina. These “rainbow pools” are not a sign of pollution, but a natural occurrence that can be caused by one of two things. Many times they are the result of decaying vegetation, especially cypress cones and needles, that release their natural oils. The other cause can be bacteria breaking down iron in the soil. Combined with very still waters, a few days without rain, and the correct angle of the light, and you can see shimmering colors floating on the water. Photo by National Park Service.
