Hey Everlark family,

Today we found out that one of our own, Kristin Rouse who wrote many Everlark fics under the name authoresskika before moving on to publish her own novels, passed away from a sudden illness. What a tragic loss to the world, whether it be her family, friends, and to a lesser degree those of us who were simply her fans.

From what we are seeing, many of you were her friends and are mourning her tonight. Or perhaps Kristin simply touched your life through one of her stories without ever knowing her.

For tomorrow’s (9/11/2020) edition of EverlarkFicBackFriday, we invite you to share your thoughts, stories, or maybe just your favorite fics by Kristin. Let’s celebrate her life- you can send your thoughts and memories in the form of an ask or submission to @everlarkficbackfriday . And if you can’t get it completed by tomorrow, no worries- we’ll continue to post things as they come in.

Thanks a lot! I haven’t thought of that but thats an interesting picture… There’s some ff about Peeta as a mechanic, am I right? Like K coming back home and getting a flat tire? And some infidelity stuff too… Maybe i’m mixing things up lol

So every time I write a fic, I have a little WWED (What Would Everlart Draw) moment and try to color a scene with as many details as possible to really picture it on screen as I do in my head. So I'll ask you, what inspires you to draw a scene? What specific notes are you looking for when you sit down to sketch?

OMG!! You’re the best lol. Sometimes when i’m reading I think “oh i would love to draw this” but in general I don’t follow any pattern when drawing… At times the scene just flows with anything specific on my mind (that’s what i enjoy the most and I could draw for hours), or I see a picture or photo that inspires me. But then it also happens that I want to draw a specific scene so badly and it goes all wrong and ends up in the trash.
