So, I went through some resumes and gave him the ones that passed my tests.

He spent every night this week with a new possible recruit, as he called them, to find the right fit. I told him either one would do, but he said, and I quote "Sorry Ms. L, but I'm not putting over 10 years of my work here, at Larusso Auto, on the line for just any probie."

Oh well. *smiles* I knew there was a reason why I kept him.

So, Andy says he's picked the guy...

Declan Phieffer, former college football player and graduate, comes from a law enforcement family and is a great critical thinker.

Andy says he has what it takes to go far and will be a good face--I mean--good fit, in the Larusso Auto family.

Annual Company Retreat Announcement

Attention all Larusso Auto Group employees....

As most of you know, our yearly retreat is coming up soon and this year we're going all out!

Everyone and their families are invited to join us at the wonderful resort and campgrounds up in the San Bernardino mountains.

Just coming out from my room upstairs after @robby-l-keene s 50th lecture today about going "too hard" on @mamabearlarusso and I'm rubbing my hands over my eyes. Yeahhh I guess he's right...but once again I tried to explain to him that they could bring in a boatload of Miss America pageant winners and I wouldn't blink twice at them. SHE on the other hand has had a thing for big muscled meat heads in the past and now giving eyes to Mr. RIPPED ABS with names like DEFCON or DEGGLAND'S BEST or some shit like that. If she wants me...she knows where to find me. I gotta get this joint "Dojo Ready"

I go stand over the railing and look down as someone comes in the door. I cock my head quizzically...he looks familiar... something in my heart breaks... nearly bursting out of my chest. "NADS??!!"

He looks up and sees me, everything instantly falling off of his body...his backpack falls to the ground, he's stunned.

"Little Johnny..."

I run down the stairs at breakneck speed and he's running up to meet me and we crash into each other's arms. It's a hug like a long lost relative who one thought was left for dead, suddenly coming back to life.

We hug for a good three minutes...I feel something wet on my shirt collar and he probably feels the same. I pull back and look at him as much as he's studying me.

"Well...look what the cat drug in..."

"Yeah...I'm lookin' at him... what the hell happened to you?"

I punched him lightly on the arm. "Do you have about 10 years to hear about it?"

*raises his eyebrow* I think I can spare you five....
