operation zack is where he hurts his knee before a basketball game and lisa is working at the hospital he’s staying in as a candy striper and her mother is his doctor! i havent seen the concert ticket one in years!!
to make myself feel better about lisa and zack not being endgame, there are episodes where neither of them are romantically attached so i just pretend they are together. for example, “mystery weekend”? they were so together in that one. “operation zack”? again, i reiterate my last statement. im sure there are more i’m forgetting but this is how i cope.

From the 2011 Paper Mill Playhouse production of Newsies that preceded the Broadway run, some material that was cut or altered prior to NY.  First, Pulitzer (John Dossett) and friends in The News Is Getting Better; second, Don’t Come a Knocking, with Medda played by Helen Anker, who did not go on to Broadway; and finally a second-act duet for Jack (Jeremy Jordan) and Katherine (Kara Lindsay) Then I See You Again, replaced for Broadway with Something to Believe In.

I've come to the conclusion that both Charlie and Todd are the worst people when they get sick but in the complete opposite way. Charlie complains very loudly and regularly while Todd will literally never tell anybody what is wrong.

my roman empire is the fact that zack morris and lisa turtle were all set up to become a couple in the last season of saved by the bell and already had amazing chemistry since mark-paul and lark (the actors) were together irl but due to backlash, the storyline only lasted for a single episode and their relationship was retconned and forgotten about in the very next one. a plotline was even used later on where lisa assumed zack liked her but instead liked tori (who was not a necessary character in the first place). i think about this a lot.

i started crying this was so beautiful i love this fandom
there is nothing I love more than the idea that all the poets knew Neil and Todd were in love but were never really sure if any of the other poets knew because they all kept quiet as to not out them
Meeks, always such an insomniac, hoping a late night walk will get him to feel at least a bit tired and noticing their door is accidentally left open. with a worried curiosity he peeks in to see them curled up in the same bed fast asleep. he carefully closes the door for them and when Pitts asks why he’s up he just says he was getting water
Pitts on the school’s roof with the radio him and Meeks have been working on. Not many others are outside but he spots Todd and Neil outside and they’re very close to each other, faces nearly inches apart. all he does is gather up the radio and leave, telling Meeks they’d get a better reception in the library
Knox knows that the poems Todd writes are for Neil, he found the love poems on accident while looking for the chemistry papers Todd promised him. now he feels an overwhelming urge to hide the notebook Todd writes them in whenever it’s left out in the open and often tells Charlie off if he tries to go rooting through it, strangely more defensive than what Charlie is used to
before Keating’s advice, Charlie did know to tread carefully when it’s needed. when the conversations in the cave turn to be about love and girls he carefully steers it away from the two boys huddled in the corner, more than willing to direct it towards himself and make up obviously false stories just to keep the attention away from them
even Cameron knows better. he loves studying in the quiet library but is quick to pack his things up when he can see just beyond the bookcases Neil and Todd sharing a gentle moment, sparing them the privacy. when Charlie gives him an obnoxious interrogation about why he’s studying in their room if he’s going to complain about the noise, he keeps his lips firmly sealed
