I have seen many examples of AGPs online. As a woman, at best I feel disrespected (mocking #metoo, claims to trans/womanhood), and at worst I am horrified (graphic/violent fantasies about female sexual enslavement, though non-AGPs do this as well). But I...I really appreciate this blog though? I'm thankful you decided to re-open bec the apolitical approach you have regarding your asks has actually given me a widened perspective, maybe even cultivated some sympathy within me?
:)

do you think it's possible for women (i mean actual women, as in born female xx chromosomes ovary-haver afab whatever newspeak people are using these days) to be agp? i'm female and a lot of the feelings i have line up with agp (such as being aroused by my own female body or by wearing "feminine" clothing) but i always understood only men could be agp... i think it's potentially tied in to my autism and i'm just lost and looking for anything about this
Absolutely,
Autogynephilia, as theorized by Blanchard, is an Erotic Target Location Error (ETLE). An ETLE is a situation where an individual’s “Erotic Target” (what they’re attracted to) becomes associated with their self-image.
Most autogynephiles are heterosexual men. Their autogynephilia is what happens when their heterosexuality is redirected towards themselves.
In this framework, autogynephiles are attracted to women. They’re aroused by the image of themselves as a women because of some unknown secondary process (biological/sociological/etc).
Many psychologists have documented other examples of ETLEs.
For example, there are published studies which record an ETLEs in male pedophiles (referred to as “autopedophilia”): https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/0956797616677082 [under no circumstances am I comparing AGP/AAP to auto/pedophilia. This is just to most commonly studied ETLE outside of AGP.]
Apotemnophilia, or sexual arousal at the idea of being an amputee, has also been recorded among men who are attracted to disabled individuals. I also recall Anne Lawrence recording an example of autoplushophilia (sexual arousal at the idea of being a plush animal) in her book “Men Trapped in Men’s Bodies” (2013), though I could be misremembering.
As women can be attracted to other women, it’s entirely possible for there to be female autogynephilia. Though this would be much less common than male AGP and hard to distinguish from female homo/bisexuality.
I would look inwards and do some research. See if anything sticks out to you. Remember that you don’t have to force a label on yourself if you don’t want to.

could you start reporting about the effects of sissy hypno? many agp men say that it's extremely addictive but incredibly debilitating to one's mental health (especially "bambi sleep") & that it induces dysphoria if anything else. some transition just to benefit from androgen blockers which alleviate the distress of intrusive thoughts
I tend to be be strict with sissy submissions as they’re very common and often non-transgender. I also don’t post many videos.
That said, I’ll take your request into consideration. I’m well-aware of sissy hypno and its prominence on YouTube and other video platforms.
if you have any examples that you’d like to submit, I’d be more than happy to look over them.

Face censors are my own due to the user’s history of non-consensually using personal images for fetishistic content.

Please Note: This individual has been known to use selfies of underage, non-consenting girls for fetish content. He has consistently refused to remove these images when requested by their owners. This account recommends blocking and avoiding this individual.

i've found one study (2001) saying that some tranvestites fit the diagnostic criteria for OCD, I assume in the future there could be a way to adapt OCD treatment to "cure" AGP?
I’m not aware of this study, but I am aware of a minor link between sexual paraphilias and OCD. Do you have a citation I could look at?
As for paraphilias and mental disorders, I’m aware of a more established link with personality disorders [e.g. Briken et al., 2010]. Unfortunately, most studies on the topic look at sex offenders rather than the general population, but it seems to me that the link with PDs is the most well-established.
I have doubt AGP would disappear if this link is confirmed and OCD cured, but I’d be interested in reviewing your evidence before making strong pronouncements.

Worth mentioning how similar these description are to Blanchard’s observations, though much more self-centred.

You say "I personally identity as an autoandrophile and know others who do as well." I never heard about the opposite phenomenon! So you are a woman who feels some kind of arousal at the thought of yourself being a man? I'm not judging you, btw, I'm interested in understanding more. I'm familiar with autogynephilia due to how common it is online, but I don't know anything about the opposite. In fact, as someone who is a lesbian, this whole thing is alien to me but I want to understand.
If you want to ask me about my personal experiences, I’d encourage you to dm me. Check out my “autoandrophilia” tag if you want my other takes on the topic.

Sissy is not trans. Sissies usually openly admit to it being a fetish, and usually only go into women s clothes and makeup for fetish/sex time, instead of full time like trans.
If that’s the case, then please explain why have I collected numerous examples from transgender and questioning individuals. I usually tag explicitly transgender-related content in my “transgender” tag, though they are far from being the only examples.

Are there any examples of a kind of counter fascination? I mean to say, I am FTM and I’ve never experienced any kind of sexual arousal at the thought of being a man? Quite the opposite actually, sex usually makes me feel emasculated and heightens my dysphoria and body hatred (more so when I was pre-T, less so now). I’ve never heard of AFAB people (trans or cis) who are aroused by the thought of being a man, are there any studies/examples that you know of?
Unfortunately, I’m not aware of any peer-reviewed papers on the existence of autoandrophilia. Like many concepts surrounding female sexuality, it’s one that hasn’t yet been given the time to be debated and considered properly. This is also true with autogynephilia to an extent, but the problem is undoubtedly more apparent here.
While there aren’t many studies discussing the concept, Chivers & Bailey 2000 found differences among FtMs that were similar to the homosexual and non-homosexual groups of MtFs that Blanchard recorded. I always recommend starting there from a research perspective.
While no scientific claims can be made about the phenomenon due to lack of evidence, I personally identity as an autoandrophile and know others who do as well. This is of course just my own anecdotal experiences, so take it for what you will.
