the fact that obi-wan goes out of his way to get luke a toy and then he immediately caves in and buys those gloves for leia like he would’ve spoiled those children rotten if given the chance and i’m not okay

my grandfather has this painting of an enormous fat and almost perfectly rectangular bull. the painting itself is humongous—it’s the largest painting anyone in my family owns, and any room you hang it in instantly becomes the Bull Room. it belongs to him now. it’s the rectangle zone.

anyway my grandfather asked his grandkids what we’d like to inherit and I called dibs on The Unit. he is mine now. my own. my precious.

the thing about NOT going to see Morbius is not just b/c it would be funny for it to flop again but also because if it DOESN’T flop again we’re setting dangerous precedent. this will tell studios that if their movie flops all they have to do is try to engineer memes to make it popular. we CANNOT have studios trying to “manufacture” and “force” memes. please for the love of god don’t go see Morbius in theaters.
