Turian/Veldian:
Red/pink: Expression and identity. This can refer to those who are gender nonconforming, trans, nonbinary, aspec, and/or how every single person within the community has their own expression and unique identity. Pale yellow: Our history, solidarity with one another, and accepting one another. This stripe pays respect to all those who came before us, while also showing support for the younger members of the community who will keep carrying it along. Green: The community, and the diversity / broadness within it. Blue: Our experiences with masculinity. This refers to every persons experience with masculinity, whether they completely embrace it, or reject it entirely. Dark purple: Power, pride, and individual autonomy.
Lavenian:
Pink: Gender non-conformity of all variations. Pale yellow: History of GNC gay men / nonbinary people, as well as solidarity. Red: The community, and the diversity within it. Purple: Trans, nonbinary, aspec, etc. lavenians. Tolerance and acceptance for everyone who uses the label. Dark blue: Power, pride, and individual autonomy.

Turian and lavenian
Turian, also known as veldian, is a term for gay men and nonbinary people. It is for all men who identify as gay, as well as all nonbinary people who identify as gay/nlm. The word “Turian” stems from computer-scientist Alan Turing. Veldian is an alternative term for those who prefer not to use labels that include people’s names, and stems from velds, southern African grassy plains with flowers and a lot of sunlight. (The sun is often connected to masculinity, and a lot of the flowers have meanings that stem from love and/or passion)
Lavenian is a turian who is gender non-conforming. The word originates from “lavender”, a flower that is historically attributed to both GNC and vincian/mlm men. It is similar to the term lavender boy, but is specifically for those who identify as gay. Not all gnc turians need to use lavenian if they do not want to.
Both of these terms are all inclusive and anybody who feels they fit may use them.

I don't care what anyone says, we used to use this nonbinary lesbian flag as a kid and it's still the most beautiful one there is. No topping it. It's literally pink lemonade and I want to drink it

Thalphoric: A gender related to thalassophobia (fear of the ocean), whether it be the feeling of thalassophoba, things that cause thalassophobia, or being something that causes thalassophobia in others. May or may not be connected to other ocean-related genders.

[ID: A set of four symbols, two black and two white. It depicts a small circle with a dot in the middle and two small lines coming off of it. It is surrounded by a diamond. In the top images, a circle surrounds the diamond at the end, while on the bottom, the circle is smaller and links together with the diamond from behind. End ID]
────────
Nonhuman Symbol
This is my proposal for a nonhuman symbol; for people who identify as nonhuman in any sense. I couldn't personally decide which version I preferred, with the outer circle on the end or linked with the diamond, so I went with both.
The symbol is meant to represent many varieties of nonhumanity, and include different experiences and communities within it:
The outermost circle represents nonhumanity as a whole- the broad nonhuman community in which anyone can be included, and one's personal experiences with nonhumanity.
The inner circle with a dot represents those with psychological experiences of some kind, as it resembles the disability sun. Not just those with psychological origins- it is for anyone with psychological experiences, or something similar.
The two lines protruding out represent external experiences, such as spiritual, metaphysical, or otherwise outside experiences. This, too, represents anyone with these experiences, not just someone's origins.
The diamond represents multiple things: It can represent one's body, whether it be their physical one or otherwise, it can represent one's personhood and sense of nonhuman identity, and it can represent those who feel a desire to have a nonhuman body / nonhuman body parts, those who already have them (such as in headspace), those who have phantom limbs or otherwise, and so on. It is also a vague homage to the term aldernic.
Anybody who considers themself nonhuman, regardless of why they are nonhuman or in what way, may use this symbol for what they'd like. This includes subterms, such as ahuman.
Do not put discourse on this post.
EDIT: I merged the two symbols together, and I got these:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[ID: A set of two symbols, one black and one white. It depicts a small circle with a dot in the middle and two small lines coming off of it. It is surrounded by a diamond. There is a ring behind the diamond, and then another ring at the very edges of the diamond. End ID]
And I really love them. So I'm going to add these as yet another version of the symbol.

[PT: The Asexual Spectrum, Aromantic Spectrum, and Aroace Spectrum flags
This is for the acespec, arospec, and aroace-spec flags first posted onto theflagarchive. This is an HD rendition of the flags, as well as updated formatting and more explanation for the stripes/colors, all posted together.
Flag explanations and FAQ below the cut. /end PT]
Asexual Spectrum: A spectrum of all identities that relate to having differing sexual attraction from allosexuals.
The flag stripes are as follows: Dark blue is for the community, its history, and solidarity. Purple is for asexuality of all kinds. Red is for self determination, pride in your identity, and acceptance of your and others’ asexuality. Cream is for diversity in experiences and types of attraction.
Colors such as pink were chosen to represent some microlabels that use it, such as cupio, alongside flags like alloace, which has pinks and purples.
Aromantic Spectrum: A spectrum of all identities that relate to having differing romantic attraction from alloromantics.
The flag stripes are as follows: Dark green is for aromanticism in all forms. Light green is for diversity in attraction and experiences, recognition of the aro spectrum, and of other experiences within the community. Light yellow is for the aromantic community and its history. Teal is for pride in our identity, self acceptance and acceptance of others, and solidarity. Dark teal is for recognition that we are our own separate identity. We are not just part of asexuality, we are not confused, and we are not a modifier, we are a fully independent orientation that can be used with other labels, or used entirely on its own.
Yellow and blue were additionally added to represent the older renditions of the aromantic flag that had yellow, along with the alloaro flag which is predominantly yellow. The blue is particularly to represent some microlabels that use blue, alongside the aroace and aroace spectrum flags.
Aroace Spectrum: A spectrum of all identities that relate to having differing romantic attraction and sexual attraction from allo people.
The flag stripes are as follows: Green represents differences in romantic attraction. Off-white/blue represents diversity in experiences and attraction. Purple represents differences in sexual attraction. Dark blue represents our community, history, and solidarity.
The blue was chosen to represent some microlabels, such as oriented aroace, as well as a nod to the general aroace flag, which is partly blue.
Why different flags? Don't the originals include the spectrums already? Yes! However, these flags are moreso supposed to represent the spectrum in its entirety. More emphasis is put on varying experiences and diversity, rather than simply "asexual", "aromantic", and "aroace". While the original flags do technically include us, not everyone feels very included under them. Plus, having spectrum flags can just be fun!
Can anyone on the spectrums use these? Of course!
Should I credit the original coining posts separately, or just link here? Well, theflagarchive was our blog (we don't use it anymore), so I would be okay with either one! Frankly, I originally made these flags quite a while ago, and the definitions/etc. aren't that great. Hence why I made this!
Can I edit these or use them in different things? Yep! Don't even have to include credit. They're for the whole community, not just me.

View Regression / Cognitive Regression: A term for those who regress (ex: age regression), but rather than it being to the state of a child or animal, it reverts someone back to a previous state of mind without necessarily changing their age. Someone's perception of themselves, the world, and many other things, may vastly change while regressed. Can be shortened to viewre or cogre.
Someone could regress to how they were just a few months ago, or they may regress back many years. As with all forms of regression, it may be a positive experience, a very negative experience, or somewhere in the middle.
Examples:
Someone regressing to a time period where they still trusted or liked a certain person(s), thing(s), etc.
Someone regressing to a time when their belief system or self perception was different (such as religion, values, etc.)
Someone regressing to a time when their name, pronouns, etc. were different.
Someone regressing to a "snapshot" of how they used to be in an earlier time period, from anywhere between just a few months ago to many many years.
Many more that are left unlisted.
Personal example: We have a system member who, normally, no longer believes in his old belief system. However, under high stress, he sometimes regresses to a point where he was still loyal to that system to keep himself safe/comfortable.
This type of experience has already usually been included within a lot of regression circles, but we're coining this for ourselves to better specify this experience. This is not a form of plurality; the person regressing is the same person, though if they're regressing to a different time period where they used a different name/pronouns, they may prefer them until they're no longer regressing.

HD Valicanic Flags!
Original by @liminal-mushrooms here!
Tumblr media
Valicanic: A genderhoarder label that’s related to the void, liminal spaces, darkness, or the uncanny. May also be related to kenochoric genders as a whole. It may also just be called “void-hoarder.”
Examples:
No matter how many genders you collect, you may never be able to fill up the “void” that still exists, prompting you to find more.
You may need to keep collecting genders because they seem more distant once you’ve collected them, or they become increasingly distorted and harder to make out.
You may consistently lose sight of your genders once you’ve collected them, as if being lost to the dark, making you need to continuously add onto your list.
Because of neurodivergency, you may feel the need to continue collecting genders, because they seem to become fuzzy, hard to make out, or disappear once you’ve either collected them, or had them for too long.

Epoch example: Four members who came around during a specific time period in the system’s life. These members are older, and from a specific time period, so they might know each other better and thus have better communication. They are not in any of the same subsystems, however.
Reiterative example: A system host at fifteen years old split off a new form of themself who then became the new host. One year later, this member also split, and the new member became the host yet again. This may happen continuously, or only sometimes, and the older members may still exist just as any other member can. Reiteratives don’t have to be in the same subsystem or layer either. Here is a comparison between reiterative and snapshot. [link lost]
Ecliptive example: System member A split into members B and C. Member A no longer exists, and there is only B and C, neither of which is able to see themselves as the One Original. Instead, both of these members are two halves of a former member who split into two.
New system terms!
Obviously, you don’t have to use any of these if you don’t want to. These may have similar terms, and I’m in no way trying to replace anything if they already exist in some form, I just wanted to make some terms to fit my experiences! Feel free to use or take off of however you want, preferably with credit.
Tumblr media
Epoch: A grouping of specific members who came into existence during a specific time period. Members in an epoch don’t have to be in a subsystem, layer, or any other kind of classification, but are grouped together by time-period. Members of an epoch may or may not know each other better, be able to communicate with each other better, and other things often associated with system groups. An epoch can be any size, and entire other groups may also fall under the same epoch. Can be used the same way terms like “subsystem”, “system”, and “layer” are (Ex: an epoch may have a specific name, like “The Ocean Epoch.”)
Reiterative: A system (or group within a system) who’s members act as chronological versions of an existing member(s), and may take over the previous “spot” the older member(s) had.  Specific members who do this process may also be called reiteratives themselves. Previous members will usually still exist as any other member does, but they often represent a former point in time, or state, of a particular member(s). New members will often see themselves as different versions of the older members, but they don’t have to. This term comes from the existing word reiterative, which is used in mathematics to describe something that repeats itself over and over again.
Ecliptives: Members of a system who came from one original person, and then split into parts. Unlike most splits, ecliptives have no “original” member that the new member split off of; the original member completely split into new parts, where neither one is older than the other, and the original member is no longer present. Oftentimes, this will look like “twin” members who were originally one member and then split in half, but there can be more parts involved, and they do not have to consider themselves family. Can also be called ecliptrojects if you prefer the term “introject.”
Examples of these terms below the cut:

The stripe meanings:
Tumblr media
Yellow represents solidarity and shared experiences. This is the affirmation that trans people work best together, and that we have many shared experiences between each other. It is an active rejection of the idea that only some of us experience problems, that we are on completely different levels, or that we are enemies.
Green represents intersectionality. This includes things like personal experiences of how one grew up, how one experiences oppression, how one lives, etc., and it is also understanding and respecting intersectionality between different kinds of oppression. This includes things like transmisogyny, transandrophobia, and ceterophobia, but it also includes the intersections many experience between their transness and, for example, racism, intersexism, homophobia, body-shaming / fatphobia, misogyny, xenophobia, and so much more.
Teal represents inclusivity and tolerance. This means inclusivity in both the community and label; this isn't just for transfem and transmascs, it's also for transneutrals, genderless people, multigender people, nonbinary and genderqueer people of all shades, xenogender people, and so on and so forth. It also represents tolerance and understanding between each of these groups, and accurately representing all of them.
Blue is for supporting those in dire situations. Those that are impoverished, those that are in rough living conditions, those who are traumatized, who are waiting for the day they can transition, who feel as though their life might have not even "started" yet. It is a warm embrace for those whose transness is difficult for them, still affects them, or influences their situation. It is a reminder that we are there for those people, even if they don't have anyone else right now.
Purple is for unique experiences, respect, and mutual support. It is a rejection of the idea that any trans group can speak for the experiences, oppression, or issues of another. It is the rejection that any group is more valid, more worthy, more respectable, more pure, and so on. It is for showing that trans groups DO have some differences, and all of them need to be talked about on an equal playing field. It's about not talking over others, it's about lending a listening ear, it's about respect and not mocking or dismissing the lives of others.
Purple-pink is for self actualization, self respect, and self love. It's about self affirmation and knowing that your experiences are real and your own. It's about respecting oneself enough to not be pushed around by transphobia people, it's about supporting your own transgender identity, and it's about expressing that identity however you please.
Pink is for education, resources, and direct help. It's for those who educate others on transphobia and all of its intricacies. It's about resources for transgender people, and it's about giving direct support to those in need. It is a nod towards the educators, the researchers, and the helpers.
Orange is for remembrance, visibility, and our community history(s). It's for remembering those who came before us, it's for respecting and acknowledging the ones we've lost, and it's for fighting for our visibility and rights. It's also about our community history- both the shared trans community, and individual communities of transfem, transmascs, and otherwise. Our community is the foundation in which so many of us have stood on and learned from and grown in.
The symbol:

Transunitism flag
Transunitism: A form of solidarity among trans* people. It is believing in the unique struggles of different kinds of trans groups, and is rejection of centering one specific kind of trans group or issue in the community. It is recognizing that transphobia and its subsets have ideas that can hurt trans people in unique ways, for specific reasons, and that the best way to combat them is together. (Simplified definition)
I wanted to make a flag for this label so I could show my support for the 'movement' (?) that is transunitism. Please note I'm not saying this is some kind of "official" flag, but this is my proposal for one. In particular, I took the colors from multiple different trans flags, namely transmasc, transfem, transneu, xenogender, and a couple others. Most ended up being edited later though, so this isn't the most obvious thing.
The flag was made by me, but the symbol was made by transgentleman-luke here. However, I did make an HD version of this symbol for the flag, and it can be found under the cut. The term transunitism is also not mine; the elaboration and creation of the topic comes from various individuals, but the term itself was made by @ddigi.
