Title: “Koko and All Ball”
Koko the Gorilla was famous for her ability to understand and respond in human sign language. Additionally, she was famous for her adoption of a small kitten she cared for and named "All Ball," as pictured in the monument. Koko spent her life at The Gorilla Foundation, which is near my hometown, until she passed away in 2018. I intend this work to be erected outside The Gorilla Foundation to commemorate Koko for the amazing role she played as an ambassador of her endangered species. The geometric design I chose for the monument was inspired by a similar geometric animal sculpture that used to be in the mall I went to as a child. I also think the repetition of rectangles in Koko lends to the feeling of "stability" that contrast the roundness of "All Ball." This contrast between small kitten and powerful gorilla is partially why Koko is so famous, and I wanted to capture that aspect in my piece.

Title: “ICE 545″
Beginning in 2017 during the Trump administration, the parents of 545 migrant children to the US had not been found. The “zero tolerance” policy was intended to prosecute those trying to enter the U.S illegally while simultaneously resulting in immediate separation of children from their parents. Although illegal immigration prosecution didn’t start with the Trump Administration, Trump’s “Zero Policy” created immediate family separation.
This monument is a memorial for the children who have sadly been taken away from their family. The sculpture is meant to be temporary. This temporary work will be in Anacostia Park in Washington D.C. It is made for the people to help those who have been lost and a reminder to U.S. officials that something must be done to change the immigration system.
ICE 545 is a walk-through monument inspired by the Memorial of the Murdered Jews by Peter Eisenman. Once you have stepped foot on the cold stone floor, you will be overwhelmed to find that the large glass cubes contain a block of ice inside. There are 3 lines of ice, each line containing either 5 or 4 blocks. In the blocks in the first line you will find families, to signify that everyone comes from somewhere, everyone has a family. The further you go down, you will find some empty blocks signifying those we have lost and some with lonely children in them.
Here’s to those who have been found but we must never forget those we have lost.

Title: " A Special Anti-Fascist Fighter"
The monument is built next to Wojtek’s tomb to memorized his contributions as a bear anti-fascist during the World War II. Wojtek (1942-1963) is a Syrian brown bear belonging to the 22nd Artillery Supply Company. Baby Wojtek was saved by Polish soldiers. To follow the army to the Naples, the commander gave Wojtek an official military title. Wojtek’s job was helping his unit to convey ammunition by carrying artillery shells. His enrollment greatly inspired the world's anti-fascist fighters. After the war, Wojtek spent the rest of his life in Edinburgh Zoo in Scotland, and he was buried a Non-Cemetery Burial.
The sculptural bear is made by dark green marble (Polish Land Force’s suit is dark green), and the base of the sculpture shows his name, rank and army flag,  made by black and white marble to show his status and enhance the sense of gravitas. The scale of the monument is double size of real size of him. This monument of Wojtek can bring hope and the sense of peace to viewers.
