what is your favourite piece of CC / best mod / fave creator I should check out in the 2 years I've been gone. I still have all the old reliables followed, so show me something new that I might have missed

oh hey there anon, i've missed you too.

Seriously, I didn't realise how much I've missed this community until I started looking at all the new CC and content I've missed in the 2 years I've been gone. And I left in a really sucky way, I didn't say much to anyone, and I'm sorry about that, I know that can make people worry!! I'm okay, still disabled (haven't been able to shake off the 'permanent' part of that diagnosis... yet, lol), a fair bit worse over the past 2 years. Lots of falls, a week in hospital last year with a kidney infection, and i'm pretty housebound lately. I'll be moving into specialised housing pretty soon, it's in the works. Other than that I had a small online business on etsy for a while, making printables and graphics, studied astrology, added to my tarot deck collection, played a bunch of other video games, quit smoking after 20+ years and got hopelessly bored, tired and fragile. So, what am I doing back here? Me and my good frendo craftyalpaca were talking about pre-covid good times and this convo just turned into the sims and I couldn't help myself, I just had to download it again and start playing. Will I start making CC again? Maybe, I don't know. I always have an urge to create something... if the planets line themselves up right, it's definitely possible..

Hi friends!

Due to the fact that I made a mistake on something and didn't realise it was a mistake until I looked at it in-game, and also that I have really been behind on things not just here but personal life stuff, I will only be releasing stuff next weekend rather than both weekends

This is really annoying to me because I don't like being behind on anything, ever!

I anticipated this being the case a few days ago, but I really tried to have at least one part done! So I'm super sorry if you were anticipating a release this weekend. there will be multiple things next weekend!!

actually working on this build today, the same build I started as soon a Cottage Living came out.. im still far off from finishing cause I haven’t had time, but I made it a priority today so I can commit the rest of the week to simblreen gifts!

i’m styling it a little bit eccentrically, mid to late 19th century with a splash of early 20th, kind of mish mashed together as if different furniture was changed over generations, maybe a modest family early on and a more extravagant family later.

I honestly couldn't pick an era to furnish with lol. Still have lots to do, lots of gaps to fill in and everything needs clutter!
