We’re taking our engagement pictures this weekend (finally), but I made the mistake of not planning what I want to do with my hair in advance.

It’s ~3ft in length and super thick and full. I have a fuckton of hair. Literally every hair stylist I’ve ever seen has underestimated just how much hair I have.

And now I have the problem of finding a salon or stylist that’s open early enough, has an available slot, and isn’t going to cost $200 just because of the amount of hair I have.

I would do it myself, but have you ever tried to style 3ft of hair with arthritis and heatless curlers & a flat iron as your only tools? I get about 1/3 of the way through my head and I am crying from the pain in my hands and arms.

Creating a Monk for D&D 5e, and as I’m reading all the tables and proficiencies and abilities, etc. I’m just slowly realizing that Wei Wuxian in The Untamed is literally a Monk.

So now I kind of want to name my monk “Yiling Laozu” just for shits and giggles even though only my fiancé would get it 😂

If a worker who isn't the owner says ANYTHING similar to "I'm not really supposed to do this but-" and then does something that helps you, under no circumstances inform the business, including through reviews. You tell them that the worker was polite, professional, the very model of customer service and why you like to go there. You do not breathe a word of the rulebreaking.
