hey trc fandom (and artists)!

this year I'm gonna do inktober (for the first time in several years) as #ravenstobers.

here you can see my challenge list with some theme and quotes from The Raven Cycle books.

I'm gonna draw with ink on watercolor paper and want to prepape most of arts before October (but will post them every day in October).

you can follow the list however you want and draw as much as you can (don't force yourself, please). also quotes doens't mean you have draw the exactly moment from book.

choose your drawing techinque (traditional or digital) and don't forget about black-and-white (cause this is inktober, heh). mark you art with tag #ravenstober 🪶

Inktober Alternatives

Are you interested in Inktober but don’t like the history, the pressure, or the prompts for it, or some combination of the above? Valid, and a mood! (although also very fair to those who do participate in it, all art and challenging yourself healthily is valid, and I enjoyed it when I did last year)

Whumptober

https://www.tumblr.com/blog/view/whumptober  A bit of angst for every day, and more than one option per day. Plus they considerately give bonus possibilities for if one of the days just doesn’t work for you!

Flufftober

https://www.tumblr.com/blog/view/flufftober  A real mix of prompts, from dialogue to AUs to single words - a wonderfully soft alternative~

Chilltobember

https://www.tumblr.com/blog/view/chilltobember  In line with the name, this one is a bit more relaxed, with a choice of two prompts per week, and it actually extends all the way to December - I love the less intensive approach!

Fictober

https://www.tumblr.com/blog/view/fictober-event  Their prompts aren’t out yet but apparently will be in the next few weeks. Looks like their prompts are dialogue-based, which is fun!

Creeptober

Hi!! I love your art style and all of your art a ton :) i especially like how you do clothing. Would it trouble you to do a little tutorial? Im working on fabric and clothing myself and tbh im already using your art as reference. I like how you draw fabric so fluidly as well as how detailed and realistic it looks!! Id really love whatever tips you could offer, but either way, thanks for sharing your art with us!
