I also wonder if Esme is Matthew’s love interest. I’ve considered it before because in Nothing But Shadows, she harbours a “tendresse” for him. Honestly I’d be super down for that, it would be really cute. I liked her in NBS lol idk

1)Possible side project about Matthew. (We don’t have his POV, which was on purpose. Cassie cannot say anything for sure because we don’t know who survives Chain of Thorns.)

2)New character from Chain of Thorns: Esme Hardcastle. (Esme is working on the family tree and is “clearly a bit unhinged”. She asks the characters terribly personal questions that they answer incorrectly but Esme still writes everything down.)

3)Wicked Powers is not the last TSC project (it's possibly the last trilogy, but we still gonna get short stories, sth like "The Bane Chronicles" but not about Magnus)

4)We are certainly gonna learn more about what Anna had to go through before TLH.

I think some time and distance from this fandom has helped me to feel more comfortable with enjoying the books on my own terms. I’m still going to be on indefinite, probably eternal Tumblr hiatus, but I also will likely write a long Will and Tessa fanfic at some point. I miss them a lot and we clearly aren’t getting the Wessa content we need and deserve, so I’m going to give myself the content that I want to see. I’m basically just letting you all know that you can expect some Wessa content from me in the future, but I will still not be responding to DMs/Asks or posting much besides the fic updates.

Let’s talk about the fact that the first time Tessa met Will, she saw him as a fictional hero of the books she read and had come to imagine in her mind what these heroes would be like, and he was the living image of those thoughts.
