Are y'all that ignorant or are you just stupid? How do you go to your favs tour and sing another person's song to him. You don't even know the lyrics to his own songs. So NO he isn't pissed 'cause H is not there's or 'cause E is there'. He is pissed because of YOU. Y'all been fainting since the first show so he had to dish cash from his pockets to buy everyone water and still you stopped the show because you wanted him to go get you the water. He tolerated it. You were flipping him off while he was doing a sentimental speech. He tolerated it. His first tour date you brought cake to sick happy birthday to H, you brought signs about H in the hopes he would notice you. Last night you threw food at him even before he could sing WMI. Some of you wore H's merch carried H's dolls and one wore a t-shirt with Z's face and proceeded to stand at the front so that he can notice. What were you aiming at? To provoke him? A notice? He finally snapped. He told y'all to stop and before he could even catch his breath you threw another nugget. I can't believe y'all don't understand the concept of boundaries. If he is your comfort person, a safe place, WHY ARE YOU HELL-BENT ON MAKING HIM FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE AND UNSAFE? WHY? I'm so pissed right now imma go lie down for a while

Thinking about The Times interview about AOTV a bit more, and I’m struck by how much it wasn’t actually about AOTV.

I mean, no questions to Louis about it at all?

If I was an interviewer who knew little about Louis apart from his 1D history (as this guy seems) I’d like to think I’d be a bit more curious. Or want to write a piece of journalism that explored more than basic, generic detail about Louis covered many times before. Maybe;

Why did you want to make this film?

Why now?

Why Charlie Lightening?

Was his work with British artists like Liam Gallagher a reason? Your influences seem to skew that way?

The film shows a year long world tour covering 80+ dates in 2022 and now you’re going straight back out again in 2023 for even more - Why? Is it touring that drives you? Is this where you find fulfilment and purpose post 1D?

What is the key takeaway from this film? What do you hope people get from it?

…And I could go on, with many other questions.

It just feels like a really lazy, can’t be arsed interview. I’d love to know whether it’s because the interviewer doesn’t care, has no interest in Louis at all and is just filling the column space he was allocated. Or whether this tone is coming from LTHQ.

No Times subscriber reading that is going to be motivated to go buy an AOTV ticket. Maybe they’ll recall reading something if it pops up on their Netflix or Prime menu soon, but whether it encourages them to press play I’m not so sure.

Pap pics with the new beard. So he got to be officially single for what - a month? And of course in LA so it’s 2 stunts in one.

If you believe it's all real then this is a man in his thirties with a seven year old child who just officially ended a relationship of almost a decade and a month later decided to go public with a new girl. Which OK... but you have to wonder why he couldn't be publicly single - isn't he notoriously private anyway - for more than a month? And for the fans crying about invasive fans... a) what need was there to go public so soon, even more so knowing what fans are like? b) fans have been encouraged to obsessively follow the social media of everyone around him, like Eleanor and his sisters, for hints of Louis... so if you go on an actual pap walk in LA, how are you going to complain about people checking out her public social media? Including rockstar girlfriend make up and a LouieTM playlist, apparently.

And sure, introducing a new non-famous girlfriend isn't going to kill his career, obviously, but it's not going to help it either...? Certainly isn't going to bring in new fans? I don't care what you think about his sexuality, but his personal life, which has never been all that private, has frequently served to overshadow whatever actual promo he has got and detract from him being perceived as an artist as opposed to a tabloid personality.

Fandom reaction as well shows, in my opinion, that no matter what you believe, everyone is involved in the discussion and speculation: whether it's cringe fans welcoming this girl and thinking it's cool because organic matching aesthetic! or others who might be hating on her, which I don't condone, obviously, or whatever, the point is that it's difficult to be a fan of just Louis and his music, and it's insane that his team is only feeding into this mess, instead of taking advantage of fans when they are focused on his music, and it seems straight up refusing to even attempt to reach new audiences for his music.

Next to no promo for the album, no capitalizing on the UK number 1, no taking advantage of the organic momentum of WAOYF... but call the paps for a new unknown girlfriend? Makes sense.
