A small batch of eye colors to show how the eyes behave in very, very bright, sunny weather and in darkness in front of a campfire.
Screenshots taken with NAT 3 + Rudy for NAT3.
I intentionally wanted that the colors behave like in real life. Which means when we have less light, color will be swallowed. We might barely see a difference between greens, blues and greys in darker settings. Those colors are normally very influenced by brightness.
Took me a lot of work to find the right balance of sclera brightness as well. Because in certain weather conditions it can look too bright and not natural. We all know how difficult bright colors are in Skyrim.
I hopefully can publish the raw WIP of this mod in some weeks.
I am very excited. :3

mod that replaces the earth rumbling sound effect that plays when the greybeards other than arngeir greet you with a vine boom

A woman from the Erabenimsun tribe while hunting wild shulks. Beginning of the 4th era.
My artwork, which I was inspired by while playing Skyrim: Dragonborn (it's incradible!), and also thanks to frequent references to the Red Year.

10. Dawnguard: none of these people are fucking each other because Isran is weirdly up in everyone's business.
9. Dark Brotherhood: The only ones getting any action are Astrid and Arnbjorn and only because they're married
8. Theives Guild: surprisingly not a lot of sex going on in the sewers or Riften. The members DO fuck, just not each other
7. Companions: I debated where to put them but I feel like the younger ones (Athis, Torvar, Ria, Njada) are definitely all over each other
6. Imperial Legion: analog to the roman legion so you KNOW there's a ton of gay shit going on in there
5. Bards College: like the thieves guild they mostly fuck people outside the college but there is a lot of shit going down in the dorms
4. Stormcloaks: I feel like there's some weird eugenics shit going on with them
3. Volkihar clan: duh
2. Thalmor: definitely some weird eugenics shit going on with them
1. College of Winterhold: these wizards are fucking each other like you wouldn't believe
Purposely left off the blades and the greybeards because ew

Young Lucia learns a harsh lesson about the world in Windhelm
Based off my alternate telling of the main storyline of Skyrim, where the Dragonborn is none other than the little orphan girl from Whiterun. I’ve had this story stewing in my mind for several years now and I think I might be close to actually writing it. The main premise is that Lucia is unable to adventure on her own (considering her age and lack of survival experience), so a small group forms with the goal of protecting her and saving the world. It’s entirely just because I want to write about my favorite followers and have them interact lol, and I thought that the idea of a Dragonborn that wasn’t fully capable of handling their destiny alone was neat (not to mention my love for found family tropes). I found this audio on TikTok and I found it to be rather fitting of one of the scenes in my mind.
Would you be interested in reading it?

i’ve said this before in servers etc. but sheogorath is best understood as chaos as seen through the lens of order. hence his sphere being madness instead of chaos itself, because order views chaotic behaviour as an irrational abberation that needs to be curtailled and trapped within hierarchy. hence why sheogorath’s realm is filled with aristocratic titles and systems of class, hence why sheogorath is not a guiding light or a benevolent leader of “the mad”, but a jailer, a captor, someone who tortures subjects for amusement and subjects them to the feeling that they are losing their autonomy, their understanding, their grip - at the root of this is someone who seeks control over the mad.
sheogorath’s antagonistic features are best understood when you see him as the other side of the coin to jyggalag.

Did You Know: If Salmo the Baker ever acquires bread in his inventory, he will go to either the Two Sisters Lodge or the West Weald Inn, take a bite out of the bread, and crash the game? To avoid this happening, he has been programmed to not seek out bread, despite being a baker.

more magic headcanons:
-dual-casting in the sense of casting the same spell using both hands is both common and easy. casting different spells simultaneously, however, is an advanced technique that can go badly if you aren’t careful
-transforming one thing into another completely is very difficult, harder the larger the object or being is to start with and yet harder if the thing you want to turn it into is very different from the starting point. brelyna maryon of the college of winterhold is extremely talented, just probably not in the way she wishes she was
-gender affirming procedures are really easy to come by in tamriel, especially in magic-heavy societies. there’s a wide variety of ways to use alchemy and alteration or restoration magic to sculpt your body the way you want
-most schools of magic have targeted, hands-on, and area-of-effect variations of their spells. restoration sticks to the hands-on variant for the same reason that your surgeon doesn’t do her job with a trash claw from ten feet away
-spells like “close wounds” are not permanent solutions. they’re the equivalent of a bandage or emergency first aid. proper restoration takes time to cast and isn’t a cure-all; you still need time to recover, and there can be complications
-certain things that you might assume are magic won’t be considered that way by the people who use them. for example, most dunmer probably wouldn’t consider their ability to summon an ancestor guardian to be magic
