I have so many thoughts on ossan's love Thailand:

This is a remake of a hit show that's been loved for a long time and remade before. Gmmtv is trying to make money, so they're not taking a chance. Giving this to EarthMix shows that GMMTV trusts them to pull this off.

And it is SUCH a departure from moonlight chicken. They're really letting EarthMix (particularly Earth) show their range. Drama to comedy.

But honestly? These roles actually feel SO CLOSE to who they are in real life lol. Earth seems so fucking chaotic on EMS and a lot of BTS clips. In fact, when I first started watching EMS, I was so shocked at how different Earth was from Phupha and Uncle Jim lol

As for Mix, his first 2 roles, he was always being taken care of. In moonlight chicken, EarthMix roles were a little more equal. Jim helped wen, but wen also helped him a LOT. but in ossan, it seems like Mo is the responsible one (while heng is a total disaster).

Which somewhat mirrors real life! Earth always talks about how he has to take care of Mix, but recently has started acknowledging that Mix can now take care of him too

Tbh I think Earth is an unreliable narrator on this lol. One of the incidents that made them closer was mix taking care of Earth when he got too drunk lol. So like... Pretty sure mix could take care of you since a long time ago
