are you sure this isn’t the tree where they trapped hexxus? bc it kinda looks like the tree where they trapped hexxus...
encountered this absolutely magnificent juniper tree in the Oregon Badlands Wilderness and I’m convinced an incredibly powerful spirit resides within it
do u ever just get mad//sad cause cap 3 could have been so good……the winter soldier set the foundation for what could have been such an amazing culmination of the cap trilogy. nick fury took off his iconic eyepatch and burned his old life away. natasha set off to find a new identity. steve and cap were about to embark on a journey to track down a ghost. bucky, shortly after the events of tws, looked in shock at a picture of himself in the smithsonian. pockets of HYDRA was still alive and thriving. marvel said in the last five mins of the film: this is what we’re going to do. this is what to expect. & it would have been so amazing!!!!! but then kevin feige and other marvel execs got insecure bc of batman vs superman & decided to go w an avengers 2.5 cash grab instead of a captain america film :/
If you go alone, don’t bring a flashlight. You’ll see things you don’t want to.
Don’t bring groups bigger than 12.
Bring water and some snacks, but no wine.
If you have to sleep there, sleep in the sanctuary, but not on a pew.
If you try to read the hymnal, the words won’t be english anymore.
The Bibles will be blank until you confess.
Don’t go into the confession booth. The man talking to you is not the priest, and you don’t want to know what he really is.
The cross on the wall changes locations, don’t look at it for too long.
If you see someone praying at the altar, don’t approach them. If they approach you, don’t talk to them. Leave immediately.
If you hear the organ playing while you’re in the basement, know that your time is running out.
If it plays while you’re in the sanctuary, your time is up.
Take whatever you want, but if you find that one of your possesions is missing, don’t look for it. Let them have it. It’s not worth your life.
If you find a rosary, don’t put it on. It won’t help.
The water isn’t holy anymore. Throwing it on the demons in the shadows won’t work.
Drink the wine if you wish to never leave.
Don’t get seperated from your friends.
If you spend the night, leave at sunrise otherwise you’ll enter another plane of reality with no way back.
If you don’t spend the night, leave through the doors you came in.
You might look behind you after leaving and see that the church isn’t there anymore. It means that they took what they wanted.
Never enter the same abandoned church twice. Even (especially) if you forgot something inside. That’s a lure. On your second tour through, they will know enough about you to keep you there.
Also they say ‘health is wealth’ and they’re not wrong, but in a lot of ways, wealth is health.
Having money certainly ensures the ability to care for yourself better in all manner of ways. And while it can’t buy you happiness it certainly knocks down many of the barriers that can keep from attaining it.
Pretty sure “money can’t buy happiness” is meant to actually mean “don’t neglect emotional health and caring for the people in your life in the pursuit of more wealth than you need”, but instead middle-class and rich people use it to tell poor people “don’t strive to have financial security even though I have it”.
So, Steve... you’ve gone to get your girl and get yourself some of that good life back in the past. But of course, you’d never be able to rest without first going to save
your pal
your buddy
YOUR BUCKY
...right? Steve?
...is this really what M&M are actually trying to push??? And do they really think they’ll be convincing anyone else the more they keep at it?
me, the first time I watched brokeback mtn, in tears: was anyone going to tell me this is one of the saddest cinematic love stories to date or was I just supposed to find out myself?
