After-Action Patch-Up starters
"Hold still, [name], this might sting a bit." "You're lucky it's just a few scratches. You need to be more careful!" "Don't be such a baby. It's just a flesh wound." "I can't believe you jumped into that fray without thinking! What were you trying to prove?" "Here, let me help. I've had my fair share of battle wounds." "Ouch! Warn me before you start cleaning those cuts." "You're a mess. How did you even get into this situation?" "I never thought I'd see you so vulnerable. It's strange." "Let's patch you up before anyone else sees you like this." "You really need to work on your combat skills. I can't keep playing nursemaid." "I've got the first aid kit. Sit down, and let me take care of those injuries." "You did well out there, but you're not invincible. Let me help." "I told you not to charge in without a plan. Now look at you." "It's nothing serious, just a few cuts and bruises. You'll be fine." "I can't believe you're complaining about a little pain. You should see what I've been through." "Hold on, I'll get the antiseptic. This might sting a bit." "You're surprisingly fragile for someone who fights so fiercely." "You really know how to ruin a perfectly good day, don't you?" "I never expected to see you in need of my care. Life is full of surprises." "I suppose I should thank you for saving me, even if it means playing nurse now."

i said i'd make them! i hope you enjoy these, and as always: DO NOT ADD, EDIT OR CLAIM THIS LIST AS YOUR OWN!
[ WAKEN ]: the sender touches the receiver's shoulder to waken them from a nap or sleep.

[ STAY ]: the sender, noticing the receiver attempting to escape a meeting or a conversation, quietly rests a hand on their shoulder and pulls them back into their seat.
[ REST ]: the sender places a gentle but firm hand on a weakened/sick/injured receiver's shoulder to push them back into their bed to rest more.
[ PUNCH ]: the sender places a hand on the receiver to draw their attention away from another focus, and once they've turned around, the sender swings a punch at them in the moment of confusion.

[ HUG ]: the sender places their hands on the receiver's shoulders to yank them into a hug.
[ COMFORT ]: the sender, noticing a visibly upset receiver, solemnly moves to their side, and places a hand on their shoulder in an effort to comfort them.

[ STUN ]: the sender, having been apart from the receiver for some time, makes an unexpected return and greets the unaware receiver with a hand on their shoulder.
[ TIDY ]: the sender reaches forward and lightly sweeps something from the receiver's shoulder.
[ WORRY ]: the sender grabs the receiver by the shoulders to take a good look at them for any sign of harm or injury.
[ ARM ]: the sender rests a hand on the receiver's shoulder, their arm draped around them in order to do so.
[ FOCUS ]: the sender, noticing the receiver has become distracted during a conversation, places a hand on their shoulder to redirect and focus their attention.
[ GOTCHA ]: the sender, noticing the receiver has unknowingly walked into the path of a source of danger, grabs them by the shoulder and hoists them back to safety.
[ PRAISE ]: the sender, having heard that the receiver has achieved great success in a task or accomplishment, gives them a proud pat and squeeze of the shoulder to convey their congratulations.
[ STEADY ]: the sender rests a hand on the shaken and panicked receiver's shoulder to steady and ground them.
[ CAUGHT ]: the sender plants a hand on the receiver's shoulder to stop them from fleeing a potential arrest or accusation.
[ DELIVER ]: the sender, about to deliver some bad news to the receiver, gently places a hand on the receiver's shoulder to stop them from running away from the bad news.
[ SHIELD ]: the sender catches hold of the receiver's shoulder and draws them back and away from a threat, pulling them behind them for their safety.
[ SOOTHE ]: the sender places their hands on the receiver's shoulders and begins to give them a massage.
[ LEVER ]: the sender, wanting to sit next to the receiver, places a hand on their shoulder to ease themselves to the space beside them.
[ HERE ]: the sender taps the receiver's shoulder to alert them to their presence.

some lil rp things to keep in mind:
respect boundaries. ‘No’ does not mean ’convince me’
READ PEOPLE’S PAGES MULTIPLE TIMES AND IF SOMETHING IS UNCLEAR ASK. THERE IS NO SHAME IN IT I ASSURE YOU THAT PEOPLE WOULD RATHER HAVE “stupid” QUESTIONS TO ANSWER THAN HAVE THEIR RULES BROKEN
OC’s are not worse than canon muses. Canon muses are not better than OC’s
Don’t try to force ships.
If someone says they will only interact with mutuals, they mean it. unless they have specifically told you that you’re an exception, you are not. If you’re confused pls look at #1
sometimes muses don’t click. sometimes muns do not click. sometimes writing styles do not click. And that is okay.
Please don’t be rude about other people’s headcanons. We all have a unique perspective and our own opinions but like. it costs nothing to be decent.
DONT BE A DICK.
Don’t

"Mhm--" There's a sharp nod as she tucks her feet under herself. Hoping that the coffee will chase away the January chill.
"Cam taught the kids how to make cherry bombs." There's a sigh behind her words that hints that more than the trashcan got destroyed. But that didn't matter now, seeing how everyone was still asleep.
"--You planning on doing anything fun or--" There's a pause as she thinks of how to word her odd worry. "--are you just gonna-- end up working through your last chance of holiday?"

@volucerrubidus liked for a starter
"--why are you all birds?"
Tumblr media
Never-mind the fact she's an archer dressed as a tiger. Also, never-mind the fact she's got a crossbow trained on him already.
"Like--- why does Batman have so many bird-boys?"

"That's because orange juice is like 75% sugar." Is that true? She doesn't know. But she's on a cut, so Artemis seems pretty confident in her answer.
What she does know--- is that those eggs look pretty good. And she'll be damned if she's not hungry. With a raised eyebrow, Artemis loads up a plate.
"What are you checking up on me for?" The words weirdly sound like an accusation. "Don't you have some ice-cream shop to patrol? ---instead of, y'know, playing break and enter."

"Not a joke--- just an observation, kid."
Tumblr media
Her hands are raised, as if to show that she has no weapons or stolen goods. Never mind the fact that both of those things are definitely in her pack.
"Let's do truth or dare---- I dare you to run like super far away from here and---- not come back."
❝ a SHORT JOKE right off the bat ?? man, for someone who doesn’t wanna fight, those sure are fighting words . ❞
he smiles at her widely, casually sitting on the ground nearby with his legs crossed and head propped up by his arms .
Tumblr media
❝ buuuut, if fighting isn’t your thing, got any BETTER ideas ? charades ? truth or dare ? a friendly game of hopscotch ? come on, I’m getting BORED ! ❞

"Oh, you drilled holes in it."
Tumblr media
She should be running, she knows she should be running. Fate is definitely not the kind of guy she should be trying to piss off.
"---Is it like a sand bucket? Did you steal it from a kid? Even I wouldn't steal from a kid."
" I did not steal this from someones kitchen, it was bestowed upon me by the Lords of Order. " Fate, not being the kind of guy who has any funny bones in his body, replied sternly. Possibly to no avail, though.
Tumblr media
" And yes, I can see. Evidently you cannot, otherwise you would have noticed the holes in my helmet dedicated to my eyes. "

She doesn't even notice the awkward laughter. Not because it isn't weird, but because she's way too focused on her eggs to be able to process anything else.
"--Cops don't care about arson. Firefighters do." Totally untrue and unhelpful. Her mouth is absolutely full of food, but Artemis stops for a solid second, considering his issue. "Sell it? ---we could flood it. Let insurance deal with it."
He laughed like it was a joke, the laughter trailing off to an awkward almost forced form of itself as he became more and more sure that she was not joking. Why were his friends like this? Probably because you're like this you doofus.
He strokes his chin. "Arson might be the answer... but I don't think either of us need the question of how to avoid the cops to deal with. Any other ideas to get rid of the place?"
