Set in an alternative universe, Arturia is an aquatic adventurer who travels the seas to find treasure and bring it back to her people. A warrior at heart, she can wield a short sword, and her small size gives her extraordinary speed in the water. She uses this advantage to keep hunters away from her people, or to play a little prank on them in revenge for their attempt to capture her.

She doesn't use the talents attributed to representatives of her species, because in truth, she's not very talented and prefers to live isolated in her own underwater cave where she has very few visitors.

Arturia's clan lives in the North Sea, sharing the territory with different clans who don't mix too much with each other, except for mating season or simply to find a mate other than those of their clan members. But this is far from Arturia's priority, and she spends her time out at sea, venturing far out into the ocean to escape the austere life imposed on her by her older sister whenever they meet.

There are many clans with many different ways of life in the different seas. She's already ventured into the Mediterranean, where the place seems to be ruled by divinities who fight each other for territory. She's heard of clans on the other side of the Atlantic, some of whom are cannibals, but she's never dared venture into the inland seas where the clans who live there are very isolated and secretive.

A world full of mystery and knowledge, but Arturia has a certain attraction for humans and their way of life. But caution remains important, as the merfolk are above all the object of covetousness for the surface peoples.

(And merfolk appearance generally depends on clan and genetics).

I wanted first to go for more jellyfish type for Nitocris …but i tried good thing Camazotz reference was inspired by tropic octopus and of course Cthulhu was much more easier ……Finally ….This took forever it was supposed to be for mermay TT^TT ……due to my schedule i was to tired to continue and gave up colouring even though i asked permission from @cosmikchaaya for Camazotz Pallet from her art even though i didn’t i still thank you for letting me soooo if this post goes over 600 notes only then will i redo it and with colour
