This fandom really deserves all the love, it's filled with the most beautiful, thoughtful and talented human being I ever seen.

They Belong to the Stars  Part of an illustration-project related to my series of She-Ra fanfictions focusing on post-series Horde-clones who are undertakers for their fallen brothers.  This picture in particular is meant to honor all of the clones that died over many generations at Horde Prime’s whims and in war out in space - all of the unnamed brothers of the past.     Don’t know at this point if I’ll finish the thing.

Man. It really frustrates me that Entrapta gets infantilized because she’s autistic coded when the show actually did a great job at portraying her as much more mature. Like. She owns her own castle. She has a distinctively mature but not overly sexualized outfit that looks organic (like “I feel sexy in this but not too much for everyday wear”). She’s always doing her own thing with great success in areas where others believably struggle for their age (with their element, strategy, emotions). She’s not insecure. The relationship with Hordak was written very well. Like. Yes she struggles with social cues, knowing what info others need to know va what they already know, comes off as blunt. But she’s also mastered her special interest, generally knows what she’s doing, and is confident and secure. I think if she wasn’t infantilized for her autistic traits it would be obvious she’s an adult.

Entrapdak bad 'cos Hordak is a flawed male character, and he didn't redeem himself to earn Entrapta's love. >:c

What's more, the writers paired Entrapta with someone who tried to conquer her planet. I don't care if she helped him, she's still his victim. SPoP condones unbalanced power dynamics IRL!

Oh no, you put the anti-glasses on and they won't come off — they're compelling you to "critically analyze" your favorite ship! You still have to do it, even if the ship doesn't seem problematic. The wrong people like that pairing as well, so something is clearly up with it.

look, I know that everyone brings their own baggage to their responses to fiction and fictional characters, but sometimes I wish people would own that a little more. like, sometimes you can say “I don’t like this character because they remind me of people I had bad experiences with” and not pretend that you have some kind of objective understanding of the true meaning of the work and what the character is really about

You know what occurred to me a few days ago? That Hordak would look absolutely stunning in Mel Medarda's dress (any of them)

So I am issuing a challenge to all willing artists. Draw him in any of Mel's dresses. I chose the black one because he's such an emo goth but all of them would look stunning on him.
