thierry doesn't move save for a lazy wag of his bushy tail though his eyes do brighten as his species is recognised. how long has it been since someone could tell? since someone just knew, without him having to explain. of course, he always keeps his explanations brief, hides the details because no one really needs to know how to kill a voirloup now do they?

If someone were to ask Moros how they felt about humanity--if they were disgusted or downright hated them--then they might be surprised at the answer.

Moros doesn't hate humanity in the slightest. In fact, they love humans. Maybe a little too much.

They love humanity so much, and they especially adore the ones who delude themselves into thinking they can avoid their End. They love watching it, because even though it all ends the same, the ride along the way is so entertaining.

Especially when Hope works their magic.

Moros, the Greek God Spirit of Doom, the personified force that drives humanity to it's destined deadly fate, released from Pandora's Jar. At constant war with False Hope, who prevents them from granting mortals the ability to foresee their own deaths.

They are a harbinger of the suffering of mankind... and so is False Hope. It's why they were both locked away in the Jar, but Hope believes that their hope is good. But denying that which is inevitable and hoping for anything else is suffering it itself, is it not?

Moros will make Hope realize that.

"Could it be? Do my eyes dare deceive me?" But of course they know they don't, so Moros is quick to rush right over, and grab Sef in a hug, even picking them up and spinning them once. Moros' laugh was one of pure elation as they set the Horseman back down, their own smile practically glowing.

"Death! It is you! Darling, dearest Death, it's been far too long~!"

There's not a single word spoken as they watch the being, head tilted in something... contemplative. For as much as Moros roamed, they didn't put themself in the company of non-humans too frequently. Not that other non-humans weren't interesting, but... well, though their beloved humans were predictable, they were never boring.

So, humans occupied a lot of Moros' time and attention. But, this one...

"You are... new," they say after a while, moving over to observe closer. "New to me, in any case. A being like you... yes, you're indeed new~"
