Your other hand comes down to pinch your side, what might soon become a roll; “and that? That’s the ice cream I had with it”.

Cupping your chubby gut in my hand, I pull you closer; this kiss lingers. I swear even your face has grown a little softer. “I’m glad you’ve been enjoying it so much;” I say. “And I hope you don’t get tired of it anytime soon; I have so many more recipes I want to try”.

Your hips are widening with every fattening bite you force into your mouth. Your belly rolls forward, over your waistband, with every empty plate. When you sit down, you’re too lazy to get up again, sitting on your fat ass and snacking mindlessly. Your meals keep getting bigger and more calorie-laden and as your body grows with them, you can’t deny that it’s you who’s doing this. You’re fattening yourself, whether you want to or not.

he lets out a loud, long belch, clutching his swollen stomach, his adorable face red from shyness. deep groans come from his lips as he continues to clutch his doughy stomach. he tells me he can't eat another bite, because he's just so full, but i tell him if he has the energy to whine, he has the energy to eat more.

i feed him more macaroni and cheese and garlic bread, watching as his beautiful stomach swells even more, loving how adorable he is as he moans. loving how hard he tries to please me. he's gone through twenty pounds of food in the last fifteen minutes. how can I not be proud of such hard work?

he lets out another long belch, then another, and moans. he pleas with me to stop feeding him, saying that if he takes another bite, he'll burst. then he apologizes. he begins to cry. i cup his face and kiss him as hard as i can, falling in love with him all over again, stroking him, assuring him i was so proud of him and loved him, needed him.

i kissed him until he fell asleep.

You never could figure out how to measure the right amount of pasta. Shaking a random amount into the bubbling pot of water had always turned out ok for the most part, especially since you always erred on the generous side. So what if there was a little more left in the bowl when you were full? A few more bites never hurt. Until now…

You didn’t mean to make the whole box, it just poured out so quickly. And all those snacks while waiting for the water to boil didn’t seem to make a dent in your hunger, not until you were done shoveling all of that creamy, carb-laden goodness into your mouth to sate your greedy belly. You were so hungry, you ate so fast, there was no chance you’d register the warning twinges of fullness from your ballooning belly as you devoured bite after bite. Only when your fork scraped the bottom of the bowl did you realize what you’d done. Suddenly you couldn’t ignore the weight like a bowling ball sitting in your lap and stretching the soft skin on your sides. Your shirt had ridden up, the button of your jeans was hanging on for dear life, and every breath made you feel like you’d burst.

And now you’re slumped in a kitchen chair, moaning and whimpering, cradling your tight, swollen belly, already thinking about dessert.
