JeanWanda and my headcannons for the family

For the sake of these headcannons to make somewhat sense, let’s say Jean and Wanda are living together on Kroaka and are planning to get married. Now let’s through the kids of there’s into there for some chaos. 

Jean is well aware that Wanda has the twins. She’s even met them on previous occasions albeit in the middle of battles. The same goes with Wanda in regards to Jeans daughter from another dimension Rachel.

However Jean and Wanda made a mistake when they started dating again(the first time being decades ago when the x-men was still new and Wanda was in the brotherhood), they really didn’t tell anyone in fact. The first time Pietro and Scott found out was after a year or so when Wanda moved into Kroaka with Jean.

Eventually the two decided that life is no longer short because of resurrection and that since they have loved each other since they were teens, they might as well try to get married.

And then they realized that before they announce there getting married, maybe people should know they are in a relationship. 

They do this with a series of ‘family dinners”, the first being between the ‘parent and sibling dinner’, where they invited Erik, Charles(because he was the best stand in for a father Jean could think of), Pietro, and Lorna. There was a lot of shock on Charles and Erik’s end, yet Pietro and Lorna just rolled there eyes in a sibling way. 

The second dinner was ‘X- men found family’, they invited Scott, Logan, Emma, Kurt, Ororo, Kitty, and a few others. Those closest to Jean from the beginning just nodded at the confirmation, Scott for example congratulated Jean and then later that night had a conversation with Wanda about Jean and how to be there for Jean, which ended with them sharing dating stories. Logan just raised his beer. Others who hasn’t know of Wanda and Jeans previous affiliations, very shocked and there was a lot of surprise yelling. Emma brought up that Wanda was still the ‘pretender’, which made the dinner table go silent. That was until Kurt changed the subject. 

The third dinner was the ‘Avenger found family’, they invited Steve, Tony, Simon, Vision, Stephen, and Natasha. Vision gave a very sweet congrats, and Simon gave Wanda a big smile. Tony went and got the good wine and Steve sat back and nodded. Natasha just gave Wanda nice slap on the back. 

The final dinner was the ‘dreaded kids dinner’. 

The twins, Nathan, and Rachel were a little shocked but the twins warmed up to the idea pretty quickly. Billy being a fanboy was very excited to be sitting across of Jean and excited to know he would see her more often. Tommy was just excited that his mom was happy and asked later during the dinner if Jean could be his other mom. Jean turned red and said it was up to him. They have decided to see how things go. Rachel was a little taken aback but she accepted it and thought it was nice that Jean was reaching out. Nathan smiles like his sister, Scott had accidentally slipped up and spoiled the surprise a few nights before on a father, son, day.

(In all honesty I don’t know much about Rachel or Nathan, as much as I would like to, I will have to do more research but as far as I aware this is an accurate response, please correct me if otherwise)

And who knows, now that resurrection is a thing, maybe they could resurrect a mutant baby that died soon after birth, or they could just adopt the regular way. Either way, Wanda deserves to be able to raise an actual child of her own, and Jean deserves to be happy with her wife. 

Bonus: TJ Wagner drops in, says hi to Wanda and says she thinks it cool that she has a wife.

Anyway some random thoughts I have thought of the past few days about the girls and there family.

How Charles came to love smoothies

Head canons based on my ‘perfect’ Xavier-Lensherr-Maximoff-Dane family universe

after the events of days of future past, Charles focuses on the school. He knows very well that he needs help with his alcoholism but he pushes it aside and it isn’t very checked in on. He knows rehab is probably best but he puts the school first. 

Erik and Raven worry about him but he ignores it. 

Eventually when the baby twins come into the picture, Erik confronts Charles and they talk about his alcoholism and that he does need help, especially now that they have children to look after. 

They discuss rehab again but given that Charles now has a school to look after along with their two kids, especially since the only way to communicate with Wanda was with the help of Charles telepathy, they make the decision to instead get him a therapist and to join a support group, along with getting rid of all the alcohol in the house. 

Charles being the ‘support mutant business’ guy he is looks for a fellow telepath for a therapist, instead he finds an empath that works just as well. 

Charles really strives to be better but he finds it difficult given how he has relied on alcohol long before it was a problem. He’s also under a lot of stress with the school and kids which is making things more difficult than he needs.

The empath suggests he finds a hobby, something to spend his time with to make him happy. 

Charles used to really enjoy making cocktails and mixing and creating new drinks. Of course that involved alcohol, so he looks for a substitute.

He finds smoothies. The same sort of principles as mixing and creating so he gives it a try. 

However he falls in love. 

He starts making smoothies every morning before class, and making smoothies for dinner. He makes smoothie after smoothie. 

He makes health smoothies before Erik’s morning runs.

He makes super sweet kiwi and honey smoothies for Peter.

He makes peach smoothies for Lorna.

He makes banana smoothies for baby Pietro.

And he makes strawberry smoothies for baby Wanda.

He makes mango smoothies for himself. 

Since Charles can’t cook this ended up being how he contributed to meals. 

Charles still struggles and due to not trusting himself he won’t allow him self to take a drink of anything alcoholic. Instead he makes smoothies, sometimes it helps, sometimes it’s tough, but he has Erik to keep him on track and his kids to make sure he wants to stay on track.

Cherik family head canons pt.2 or anything that didn’t fit into the last post

Peitro could not sit still as a kid.

Erik made metal jewelry for everyone, so he can track them in the house(his excuse is Charles can do it why can’t he). For Charles it’s his wedding ring, for Lorna it’s her metal pieces necklace, for Peter his goggles, For Pietro and Wanda, there star of David’s. 

Raven dyed Wanda’s hair one afternoon with the help of Lorna.

Wanda wanted her hair to be like Ravens and claimed that all her siblings(but Piet, who later had his hair died by her and Peter) had colored hair so therefore she should to. Raven was just honored that her niece wanted her to help.

Peter, being the oldest, became a substitute gym teacher. When he was 25, he became the permanent gym teacher.

The kids love and hate him. 

Peitro’s first semi word was a slur of Peter and Papa. It is still an argument between Peter and Erik over who he said.

Wanda’s first word was mama.

Both dads were very confused. 

Erik calls Charles libeling

He calls the rest of his kids shatz

Charles calls Erik love or darling

Charles calls Peter Pumpkin, Lorna Sweetheart, Pietro sunflower, and Wanda Sunshine. 

Erik had trouble with physical touch in the beginning of his and Charles relationship. Charles is a very touchy and cuddly person so Erik often felt guilty that he wasn’t comfortable with hugs and such. Charles always assured him it was alright and would often joke ‘as long as you still kiss me I’m alright’. 

Erik still felt guilty so he talked to Raven and during the first Hanukkah of their relationship, he got Charles a weighted blanket so he could ‘have a hug that was still from him’

Charles has kept the blanket to this day. He takes it out when ever he is having a hard time or when Erik is away. 

Erik has gotten more use to physical touch so the need for the blanket isn’t as great a need nowadays. Still Charles holds on to it. 

The siblings are extremely protective of each other, and will go to war for one another. 

However Pietro is especially protective of Wanda, and on many occasions beat a kid up for something they said to Wanda. 

Even if Wanda and Pietro are twins, Wanda is still treated like the youngest sibling. This annoys her a lot. Especially when they baby her. 

Charles and Erik couldn’t be happier with the family they were given.

Cherik family head cannons pt. 1

Quick summary: After DOFP, Erik stays with Charles. They start to date and eventually realize that after everything maybe their more than boyfriends and end up having a small non legal marriage(because fuck 1970 or anytime before 2015) they discuss the prospect of kids. Charles has always wanted children, and Erik has always wanted a large family to stick to Shaw. But they decide there not ready for kids as they are rebuilding the school. But of course that gets ruined when a women comes to their door claiming to need their help. This women is Natalya, the ‘best fiend’ of Magda, mom of Wanda and Peitro. Magda and Erik had gotten in a relationship a little before Erik was taken to the Pentagon. That resulted in the twins. But when they were born, Wanda’s mutation manifested and well the twins were taken but a mutant control organization. Magda later died. Natalya and made it her mission to find Erik, and the kids. So a little mission gets started and Natalya, who is a witch, and Erik break into the MCO to retrieve two practical babies. And of course Charles and Erik take them in with out question. A few months later Peter and Lorna show up looking for Erik, and they are integrated into the family. 

Wanda was a very quiet child, and was behind on development, while Peitro was the opposite. 

Lorna was 14 when she joined the family, and when Charles and Erik became her legal guardians. But Lorna held some resentment for Erik. Her mother had recently died due to cancer and she blamed Erik for not being there. However she did find comfort in Charles and quickly accepted him as her step dad. 

The first time Lorna called Erik Pa, he didn’t know how to respond and froze. She laughed. 

Peter didn’t give much of a fuck, and literally five minutes after the reveal of being Erik’s son he started calling Erik Pa, and Pops.

All the kids decided that Erik was Pa and Charles is Dad.

Wanda and Peitro called him Vati as well as Pa. 

Peitro’s mutation took some time manifest, but he was still fairly early. He manifested when he was two, and Lorna was the one watching the twins when it happened. He was just learning to walk and Lorna looked at Wanda for two seconds and he was gone. 

Peter almost threw a party when he found out his little brother was a speedster to. 

Charles burns water, Erik learns he loves to cook. Turns out Peter inherited this gift so the two are the main cookers in the family. Lorna will occasionally make pancakes and waffles from a box but that’s as much as she knows. Wanda, when she’s older, learns how to bake and loves it. Peitro only knows how to make smoothies and that’s it. 

Charles was an atheist for most his life, believing in science over religion, but he understood why it was very important to Erik that the children be raised Jewish. After a few years of celebrating Shabbat, Hanukkah, Passover, and visiting the synagogue, Charles started to feel more and more comfortable in Judaism and grew a connection with it, till eventually he converted. 

Because Wanda, Peitro, and Peter are Roma, and since Charles and Erik aren’t, and since Erik knows what it’s like to not be able to practice his culture, he and Charles got in contact with Magda’s brother, Django and his wife Mayra, who had recently immigrated to America, and made sure they could be Uncle Django and Aunt Mayra to the kids. They talked to the couple and explained how they wanted their children to be taught about their culture. Aunt Mayra and Uncle Django can often be found babysitting the kids or being over for family dinners. 

Natalya visits the twins every now and then. To them she is Aunt Natalya. But if the twins had never taken and her dear Magda had never died, than to the twins she would have been ‘mama’. However the twins were taken, and her dear Magda did die, so she remains Aunt Natalya. 

Raven is Aunt Raven to all the kids.

A speed round of the aunts and uncles: Aunt Irene, Uncle Logan, Uncle Hank, and Aunt Emma 

Wanda was a selective mute when she was little. The only times she would talk would be to say the name of the person she wanted the attention of.

Charles could read her mind and so she gravitated towards him since she could have a conversation without having to talk. 

Charles noticed that she had some telepathic abilities so he taught her how to send messages. She doesn’t use them often with anyone but her family.

Wanda used to hide behind Erik’s legs when she was nervous. Or she would pull on his pant leg to ask to be picked up.

With Charles, Wanda would pull on the blanket he normally has over his legs so that Charles would pick her up and she could sit on his lap. 

Once Charles taught an entire class with Wanda on his lap. She eventually feel asleep.

This is part one because somehow I wrote more than what was aloud on a text post haha
